The following are the CPT qualifying criteria for December 2022. Before applying for the CPT 2022 exam, candidates must ensure that they meet the CPT eligibility requirements. The conducting body will cancel the candidates' candidature if they do not meet the CPT eligibility standards.
Criteria | Description |
Qualification | The applicants must have passed or appeared in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination conducted by an examining body constituted by the law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto. |
Registration | The applicant must have registered for/ switched over to Common Proficiency Course with the Board of Studies of ICAI on or before 30th June 2022. |
Revalidation | The applicant must have revalidated their registration to Common Proficiency Course (as applicable). |
Validity | As decided by the Council, the registration is valid for a period of 3 years and the student is required to revalidate the same from the concerned Regional Office on expiry of the said period. |
Registration Number | The student must have a valid registration number on the date of application to the examination. Thereby, they must ensure that their registration for the Common Proficiency Course on the date of filling examination CPT 2022 application form is valid. |
Age Limit | There is no limit for the CPT exam eligibility age. |
Applicants must have certain documentation to apply for the CPT exam, according to the CPT eligibility rules. The following is a list of the documents that must be submitted for CA CPT 2022.
