Before applying for the CDS 2022 exam, candidates should make sure they meet the eligibility requirements. At the following levels, candidates must meet the UPSC CDS exam qualifying criteria:
A candidate must be an Indian citizen, or a Nepalese or Bhutanese subject, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of settling permanently, or a person of Indian origin who arrived in India for permanent settlement purposes from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, or Vietnam.

Only male candidates can apply for IMA and INA.

As of 1st July 2022, the candidate's age should be between 20 to 24 years i.e, the candidate should be born after 2nd July 1998 and before 2nd July 2003. | Candidates who have not attained the age of 25 years must be unmarried. Candidates holding a valid current commercial pilot licence issued by Indian DGCA are entitled for the age relaxation in terms of upper age limit upto 26 years. | Candidates who have attained the age of 25 years and are married can apply. During training period, the candidates can not accomodate for a spouse. The candidates will not be allowed to live with family outside the premises. |

Aspirants who have applied for various CDS exam positions must be intellectually and physically healthy in order to match the physical standards outlined in the official announcement.

The UPSC CDS 2022 Notification PDF was made public on UPSC's official website on December 22, 2021. The UPSC has released the CDS 2022 announcement, which contains a large number of non-technical jobs, including SSC Women, for applicants interested in joining the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force.
From December 22, 2021, a link to the CDS 2022 application form will be available on the Union Public Service Commission's official website. The deadline for submitting the CDS 1 online form is January 11th, 2022. This exam is one of the most important opportunities for anyone who desire to work in this sector. Women and girls can only apply for Officer Training Academy (OTA) posts in the CDS test.
UPSC has already published the official calendar for the CDS test in 2022. According to the announcement, the CDS exam will be held on April 10th, 2022.
