CEED 2022 Exam Centers: List of Cities, Exam Day Guidelines

CEED Exam Centers- The details for CEED exam centre 2022 have been announced. IIT Bombay will give the CEED 2022 test in 24 cities throughout India on January 23. The examination will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) will be held at IIT Bombay to shortlist candidates for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IITs and other universities that recognise CEED marks.

From September 9 onwards, CEED registration 2022 is open. Candidates must complete the CEED 2022 application form by October 10 (with regular charge) or October 17 (with late fee) (with late fee of Rs 500). Candidates must list three test cities preferences in order of preference on the CEED application form. The CEED admit card 2022, which will be distributed on January 8, will provide specific information about the exam centre that has been assigned to you. Candidates may be assigned to a test centre in any of the cities listed on their preference list by IIT Bombay. However, the city that candidates are assigned to may not be their first choice. Exam administrators have the authority to delete or add CEED exam centers/cities at their discretion.

Note:- In the CEED online application form, candidates must choose three exam cities based on their preferences. "If a sufficient number of candidates is not available in a city, then it may be dropped from the final CEED exam centres list and candidates will be allotted a test centres in the city mentioned by them as their second or third choice" according to the official CEED 2022 information brochure. "UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee (UCIC) reserves the right to add a new city, remove an existing one, and allot a city that may not be among any of a candidate's choices," according to the statement. There may be more than one examination centre in a city.

CEED 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates taking CEED 2022 should carefully read the exam day guidelines listed on the admission card. The goods and documents that candidates are permitted to bring into the examination venue are listed below.

Things to be brought during CEED exam:

Because part B of the CEED is a subjective test, candidates must bring stationery to the exam centre, such as

  • pencils,
  • sketch pens,
  • poster colours and
  • other drawing supplies

Aside from that, candidates must ensure that they bring all of the documentation listed below to their CEED test centre.

CEED Admit Card: To the exam centre, candidates must provide a coloured printout of their CEED admit card. Candidates' biometric details must be recorded on the admit card at the centre.
Candidates must have a valid and original picture ID proof with them to their CEED exam location. College-issued identification cards, passports, driver's licences, PAN cards, voter ID cards, and Aadhaar cards are all acceptable forms of identification.

Candidates must bring their own stationery, including pens, pencils, sketch pens, and coloured pencils.

Things not to be brought during CEED exam:

Inside the exam hall, candidates are not permitted to bring any electronic device, including a

  • cell phone,
  • calculator, or
  •  smart/digital watch
