CGC Landran Undergraduate Eligibility Criteria 

• In Computer Science Engineering
  • All those aspirants who have passed the senior secondary or its equivalent examination in any stream are eligible to apply.
  • The certificate should be from recognized Board/University/Council are eligible.
  • For Lateral Entry, aspirants must have passed there three years of diploma with Computer science stream.
  • Must have cleared Diploma in any engineering stream from any State Board of Technical Education Institutions (SBTE) are eligible.
• In Information Technology
  • Candidates who have passed senior secondary school
  • Mathematics and Physics are mandatory subjects. 
  • Senior secondary school certificate should be from any recognized board or equivalent status along with any one subject out of the following:
    • Computer science
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Biotechnology
• In Electronic and Communication Engineering
  • Candidates who have passed senior secondary school are eligible.
  • Mathematics and Physics are mandatory subjects.
  • Senior secondary certificate should  be from any recognized board having equivalent status along with one of the subjects mentioned below:
    • Computer science
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Biotechnology

         OR

• • Must have cleared Diploma in any engineering stream from any State Board of Technical Education Institutions (SBTE) are eligible.

         OR

• • Candidates who have a two-year certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology.
• In Mechanical Engineering
  • All those aspirants who have passed the senior secondary or its equivalent examination are eligible.
  • Certificate of the senior secondary school should be from any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council are eligible.
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
    • Chemistry
    • Biology
    • Biotechnology
    • Computer Science

• To secure admission in B. Pharmacy one must have cleared the senior secondary school
• Physics & Chemistry are compulsory subjects and one of the following as an additional subject:
  • Maths
  • Biology
  • Biotechnology
  • Computer Science
• Applicant must score at least 45 per cent marks in aggregate (40 per cent in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
  OR
• Candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from Punjab State Board of Technical Education /any university/ State Board of Technical Education. But the university should be approved by the PCI / AICTE are also eligible.

• In BBA
  • Must have passed the senior secondary or its equivalent examination in any stream.
  • The certificate of senior secondary school should be from a recognized Board/University/Council.
  • Aspirants who have cleared Diploma in any engineering stream from any State Board of Technical Education Institutions (SBTE) are eligible.
• In B.Sc
• Must have passed 10+2 commerce examination of any examination
• Candidate should score at least 33 per cent marks in aggregate.

         OR

• At least 40 per cent marks in aggregate for those candidates who opted for two of the following subjects in 10+2:
  • Accountancy
  • Business Studies
  • Economics
  • Mathematics
  • Office Management and Secretarial Practice
  • Principle and Practice of Insurance
  • Tax Procedure and Practice

• Must have passed senior secondary in any stream.
• the senior secondary certificate should be from any recognized board.
• The aspirant should score at least 45 per cent marks aggregate.

         OR

• Must have cleared Diploma in any engineering stream from any State Board of Technical Education Institutions (SBTE) are eligible.

• Must possess a 3-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• The degree should be from a recognized University.
• Admission to the Bachelor of Education course is completely based on merit.
• In the qualifying exam eligibility criteria of the general category are 50 per cent and 45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC category as per conditions laid down by NCTE, Delhi.

CGC Landran Post Graduate Eligibility Criteria 

• For PG course from the M.Tech College of Punjab (CGC Landran), then-candidate must have B. Tech or B.E. degree in the respected branch.
• Candidates have to pass Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in qualifying degree course.

• Must hold any recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from University Grants Commission recognized Board/University/Council.

         OR

• Must have passed BCA of minimum three-year duration from a University Grant Commission (UGC) certified Board/University/Council.

• Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in B Pharmacy.
• The candidate must score a minimum of 55 per cent marks.

Age Limit in CGC Landran:

• Lower age Limit: There is no lower age limit for admission in CGC Landran.
• Upper age Limit: There is no upper age limit for admission in CGC Landran.

CGC Landaran Reservation Criteria

• For B.tech: 66.6 per cent of seats form the State Quota while 33.3% of seats in each discipline are reserved for Management Quota. Admissions to all seats are made based on the merit of JEE/10+2 marks.
• For B.Ed: The college has a total of 100 seats out of which 85% are reserved for Candidates having Punjab domicile and 15% are for Candidates from states. Out of the 85 per cent, Punjab quota 15% are reserved for the management. Thus 13 seats are kept aside for the management to be filled as per the defined norms and conditions.
• For M Pharmacy:33 per cent of the total seats will be filled directly based on GPAT and qualifying exams.
