CMC Vellore 2022 Merit List

Admissions at CMC Vellore 2022 will be provided based on inter-se merit and distributive justice. Candidates must keep in mind that merit is not merely academic merit but, besides, it is a collection of various other factors, that nay help in building a professional career.

Selections are mainly divided into two categories- Open and Minority Network. Candidate selection will be based on inter-se merit within the groups. E.g. in the B.Sc course, the seats are further divided into the following groups:

• Open 15 seats, where SC/ST reservation of 20% applies (3 seats),
• Minority Network: Minority Network candidates can have the rest of the 85 seats.

CMC Vellore 2022 Waiting List

For each of the courses, the authority will release two waiting lists for-Open and Minority Network. If a candidate withdraws from a course, then the authority has the right to pass that seat to the next candidate on the corresponding waiting list. But, if there are no more candidates on that particular waiting list, then authorities can invite the next candidate from the other list to join.

CMC Vellore 2022 Selection Process

Selection of candidates for BSc Nursing, Allied Health Sciences Degree courses and Diploma Nursing, AHS Diploma courses, MPH and MSc courses will be done based on the competitive entrance test conducted by CMC Vellore. It will release a list of candidates at its notice board and on its official website. The selection process mainly includes a preliminary Computer Based Entrance Test (Step-1). Candidates who will qualify for that entrance test will be invited for Step-2 which is a special test to check the candidate’s character and aptitude. Candidates will also have to appear in the Interviews at the second stage. Admissions in all the courses are provided based on the final merit list prepared by CMC Vellore 2022.

Selections are based on the following two categories – (1) Open and (2) Minority Network & CMC Vellore Staff quota. E.g. in the BSc. Nursing course the seats are further subdivided into groups as given below: 

• Open quota: 15 seats, where SC/ST reservation of 20% applies (3 seats); 
• Minority Network & CMC Vellore Staff quota: 85 seats are filled by Minority Network & CMC Vellore Staff quota candidates.

• Open quota: 7 seats, with SC/ST reservation of 3 seats; Minority Network & CMC Vellore 
• Staff quota: Minority Network & CMC Vellore Staff quota candidates can have admission in 43 seats. 

1. The selection of candidates depends on the orders passed or that may be passed by the Government / University / Professional Councils.
2. The decision of the selection committee will be considered as the final decision.

CMC Vellore 2022 Counseling

The selected candidates will be notified of the counseling session by email or SMS from the conducted authority. All the candidates must carry the original copies of all the required documents for verification. The candidate with the highest-ranking obtained in the CMC Vellore 2021 entrance exam will be preferred first for the seat allotment in comparison to other candidates.
