• All the details asked in the application form are mandatory to fill out.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria 2023 is mentioned below for the Undergraduate Engineering and Architecture courses, aspirants must go through to not face problems at the time of admission:

• The qualifying examination for admission for B.E. is the second PUC/10+2 Higher Secondary/equivalent examination recognized by the State/Central Government: the last two years of study comprising Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
• The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as optional subjects.
• Diploma candidates will not be eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

• The qualifying examination for admission to B.Arch. the course is the second PUC/10+2.
• No candidate shall be admitted to the architecture program unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
• The candidates applying for COMEDK UGET 2021 should have qualified for a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2021.
• Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. the course shall submit a separate application form for counselling as per the notification on the COMEDK website.

• Rank Card will be generated only for those candidates who become eligible for admission to Under Graduate Courses as per the regulations of AICTE / VTU.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Admit Card

• Hall Ticket along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test.
• Admit Card if found with incorrect details shall lead to debarring of the candidate from appearing for the entrance examination.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Answer Key

The COMEDK UGET 2023 answer key will be released on 6 June 2023. Candidates can check the answer keys through their login.

Also, the provisional answer key can be challenged in case of discrepancy in it. The final answer key will be then published after the challenges can be accepted by the authority.

With the Answer key, students can calculate their marks and know their qualifying chances in the exam.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Result

• Candidates are requested to follow to results and scorecard according to which they will be further notified for counselling and allotment of colleges.
• For all further proceedings, Scorecard plus Admit card would be mandatory as a set of proof that the candidate had appeared for the examination and has scored the following.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Tie-Breaking

The result of COMEDK 2023 is based on candidates' marks in the entrance exam. The marks are calculated using the marking scheme of the exam which is 1 mark for each correct answer. There shall be no negative marking.

• The principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answers in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
• If ties persist, then aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics in the Entrance Test
• Marks in Mathematics in the Entrance Test
• Lastly, the age of the candidate is considered, the elder candidate is ranked higher than the younger ones.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Counselling

COMEDK UGET 2023 Counselling will commence after the result declaration and students who have made it through the examination will be allowed to participate in the counselling and as per their choice preferences will be allotted colleges under the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test 2023 Counselling.

• All the eligible candidates after counselling will be needed to block their seats before the last date.
• Otherwise, their seat will be considered vacant and might get allotted to some other student.

About Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka

The Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation has formed COMEDK to determine the merit of students seeking admission in the member institutions. COMEDK has been assigned the task of organizing a common entrance test from the year 2019. Its entrance test & publication of test scores and rank list will be followed by centralized counselling (Single window system).

About COMEDK UGET

The COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test is the State level exam conducted for admission in fields like Medical, Engineering, and Dental sciences. Admission is given to 26 medical colleges, 24 dental colleges & 190 Engineering colleges. The exam is held once a year.
