The Telangana State Government establishes a few eligibility requirements for admissions to various UG programmes through TS DOST Admission 2022. Before applying for registration, candidates must read all of the eligibility requirements. If a candidate does not match the qualifying requirements, he or she should not apply for admission. All such applications will be rejected by the admissions committee. The application fees may not be paid to the candidates. As a result, it's critical to check over all of the eligibility requirements before filling out the registration form. Applicants should read the following eligibility requirements to make sure they are eligible to apply for the course they want to take.
General Eligibility Criteria for DOST 2022
- Candidates must have passed the BIETS (Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State) two-year Intermediate Examination or any other Intermediate Level Examination of any other University/Board.
- Candidates who have completed BIETS Intermediate (Vocational) courses and Intermediate examinations administered by boards other than BIETS, ICSE, and CBSE must submit an Eligibility Certificate issued by BIETS.
- During admission, candidates who pass the qualifying exam in one attempt will be given priority. Candidates who pass it in portions will be given seats after them.
Application Eligibility for Various Courses
- Candidates who have completed the BIETS Intermediate (Vocational) Medical Lab Technology Course or a state equivalent are eligible to apply are for admission into B.A. /B.Com courses only.
- B.Sc. Courses are open to students who have completed a 'bridge course' as well as Intermediate (Vocational) Medical Lab Technology.
- Candidates for B.Sc admission must have passed the qualifying exam in the subject of their choice in the degree programme with a score of 40% (passing marks in the case of ST/SC).
- Candidates who passed their qualifying exam with Arts/Commerce subjects are ineligible for admission to the B.Sc. programme.
- Candidates who have passed an Intermediate exam in Mathematics, Economics, and Commerce are only eligible for admission to the B.Sc (Maths, Statistics, and Computer Science) combination.
- Candidates who have passed a qualifying examination in Science, Arts, or Commerce are eligible to enrol in B.A./B.Com. (Gen./Computers/Computer Applications) / BSW / BBA / BBM/BCA programmes.
- Candidates for admission to the BSW programme must have received at least a 40% aggregate score on their qualifying exams.
List of DOST Affiliated Universities
The Government of Telangana has recognised the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST). The Telangana State Council of Higher Education, on the other hand, oversees and regulates the counselling and admissions process (TSCHE). Candidates who wish to pursue various UG degrees in the state can apply through DOST, which is the most prevalent admissions route. The DOST is made up of six universities, each of which offers undergraduate admission to qualified individuals. Through an online method, the DOST Program intends to provide hassle-free admission for both BIETS (Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education) and non-BIETS applicants. For all six universities, there is simply a one-time registration fee of Rs. 100/-. Candidates can name the colleges that are linked with these universities in order of priority.
