The candidates can now apply online on the official website. It is advisable to check the eligibility criteria first and then fill the application form. 

• The candidates are advised to fill the form online on the official website of the DTE only.
• All the relevant details should be provided in the form.
• Candidates are required to upload scanned images of valid necessary original documents as per the requirement of the admission while filling the online application form.
• The Candidate who is already registered should enter the Application ID and Password to complete the form.
• No form will be accepted after the due date.
• Form without fee will be considered an incomplete process of registration.
• It is advised to get the printout of the filled form for all future references.

• General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J&K Migrant Candidates – Rs. 400/-
• Reserved Category Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only – Rs. 300/-

• The Candidate should be an Indian National
• One should hold a certificate of HSC Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• Should have passed HSC Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• The Candidate should be an Indian National ;
• Must have a certificate of 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.
• Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only

• The Candidate should have citizenship of India

• Passed 10+2 /HSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks
• Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Rules.

• Assignment of Merit Number.- All the eligible candidates shall be assigned a merit number. The merit list shall be prepared based on the marks obtained at the qualifying examination, or any other criterion as specified.
  • For Admission to Post HSC Diploma Course in Surface Coating Technology.- The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together.
  • For Admission to First Year Pharmacy,- The merit list shall be prepared based on the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & higher marks of Mathematics or Biology in HSC.
  • First Year Hotel Management and Catering Technology.- The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of the Percentage of marks obtained at HSC.
• Change of Marks due to verification.- If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is duly certified by the concerned Appropriate Authority or Board, the same shall be reported to the Competent Authority for admission through CAP or its designated representatives prior to 5 p.m. on the day of display of final merit list.

In case of a tie, the relative merit shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below,-

• A higher percentage of aggregate marks in HSC

• A higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC;
• Passing Intermediate Grade drawing examination.
