1. Diploma in Engineering and Technology
A. First-year of Post SSC
a) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.
- The Candidate should be an Indian National.
- Candidates should have passed the 10th Std./ SSC examination or equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks.
- Other than Maharashtra State, Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
b) NRI / OCI / PIO/ Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries/ Foreign National.
- Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination or equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks
(B) Direct Second Year of Post SSC
a) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
- The Candidate should be an Indian National
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.
OR
- 10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subject)
OR
- 10+2 Science with Technical
OR
OR
- 10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate Trade.

3) Post HSC in Surface Coating Technology
a) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates -
- The Candidate should be an Indian National.
- Passed HSC Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
b) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.-
- Passed HSC Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the rules.
2. Diploma in Pharmacy
a) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
- The Candidate should be an Indian National.
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.

- Assignment of Merit Number.-
- The eligible candidates who have submitted the Application Form on or before the last date specified for the Application Form submission for Admission through CAP shall be assigned a merit number.
- The merit list shall be prepared based on the marks obtained at the qualifying examination.
- Change of Marks due to verification.-
- If the qualifying examination marks are changed due to verification and the same is duly certified by the Appropriate Authority or Board, then the same shall be reported to the Competent Authority for admission through CAP or its designated representatives.

- The higher percentage in Science at SSC;
- The higher percentage in English at SSC;
- Passing HSC Science;
- Passing HSC with Minimum Competency Vocational Course;
- Passing ITI Trade of 2 Years duration;
- Passing Intermediate Grade Drawing examination.
- For Admission to Direct 2nd year of Post SSC Diploma Courses in Engineering and Technology.-
- The higher percentage in Mathematics at SSC;
- Higher marks in Science at SSC;
- The higher percentage in English at SSC.
- First Year Hotel Management and Catering Technology:
- On the basis of SS degree of HSC Science;
- Passing HSC in Home Science;
- Passing HSC with Minimum Competency Vocational Course;
- Passing HSC in Commerce;
- Passing HSC in Arts.
- For Admission to Post HSC Diploma Course in Surface Coating Technology.-
- The higher percentage in HSC ;
- Higher marks in Mathematics at HSC;
- A higher percentage of aggregate marks in SSC;
- A higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC;
- Passing Intermediate Grade drawing examination.
- For Admission to First Year Pharmacy:
- The higher percentage in HSC;

DTE Post SSC Diploma 2023 Admission Procedure
The important information related to the admission procedure is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:
- In order to take part in the admission procedure applicants need to fill out and submit the application form.
- After that, once the online application form is confirmed, applicants need to appear for the document verification process.
- The document verification process will be held at the facilitation centre and applicants are instructed to be present in person at the centre on the decided date.
- For the reference of the applicants, official authorities will update the merit list of the nominated applicants on the official website of the university.
- However, the merit list will be based on the marks secured by the applicants in the past qualifying exams are SSC and HSC exams.
- And on the basis of the merit list applicants will get admission to the institution.
