DU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern: Marking Scheme, Highlights, Section-wise Weightage

DU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern is set by the faculty of law, University of Delhi. DU LLB Entrance Exam is likely to be tentatively conducted in the 1st week of August, 2022. Eligible candidates can start registering for DU LLB 2022 Application Form from the 1st week of June, 2022. The DU LLB Entrance Exam 2022 will consist of 100 multiple-choice objective-type questions and will be administered in both Hindi and English. Admission into the 3-year full time LLB course offered by Delhi University will be offered to the candidates on the basis of entrance exam. The candidates who wish to get enrolled in this course can submit their application form from April 2022 (tentatively). Application forms will only be released only in online mode. Admit cards for appearing in the exam will be issued online to the registered candidates. The entrance exam is also expected to be held in online mode and will be held most probably in the month of June 2022.
DU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern Highlights
- The DU LLB Entrance Exam is held once a year in an online, computer-based format.
- General Knowledge, English Language, Analytical Abilities, and Legal Awareness and Aptitude are the four components of the DU LLB Exam.
- Candidates will receive 4 points for each correct answer and 1 mark for each incorrect response, according to the DU LLB 2022 Marking Scheme. Unanswered questions will not result in a deduction of marks.
- According to prior paper research, the DU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern is predicted to be comparable to the question paper from the previous year. Any new modifications?
DU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern
DU LLB Entrance Exam will be tentatively conducted in the month of June 2022. The registration window for the examination is expected to open in the month of April 2022. DU LLB 2022 exam pattern will be similar to last year.
- The instruction guide will be in both Hindi and English.
- The Paper will be for 2 hours and all questions will be MCQ-based.
- Each right answer will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
- The Paper will be divided into 4 sections- General Knowledge, English Language, Analytical Abilities, and Legal awareness and aptitude.

The paper for the LLB course is divided into four sections, English Language Comprehension, General Knowledge, Analytical Abilities, and Legal Awareness and Aptitude. The first section aims to check a candidate’s ability to logically solve a situation. The second section tests a candidate’s interest and knowledge of Law. Other sections evaluate the candidate’s passage comprehension ability, mathematics, and basic English knowledge.
Mode of Exam
- The mode of examination for DU LLB changed from offline to online mode in the year 2017.
- It is a Computer Based Test, wherein, each candidate will be appointed a computer at the DU LLB Exam Center only.
- It is suggested that each test taker must practice through the ‘Online Test Series’ only.
Duration of Exam
- The duration of the law entrance exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
- It will be conducted from 12 pm to 2 pm.
- After submission of the test, candidates will not be allowed to re-enter the test hall.
Type of Questions
- Questions in the law entrance examination are objective type i.e. multiple-choice questions.
- There will be four choices to a question.
- Candidates have to mark the most appropriate answer.
- There will be a question of an essay too, which is descriptive in nature.
