Delhi University has introduced changes in the admission process. From the academic year 2022-23 onwards, the admission process will take place through Central Universities Common Entrance Test, CUCET.

DUET Result 2022 

NTA has released the DUET 2022 Result on the official website. The qualified candidate has to attend the counselling session to get admission. Candidate must take print of the result for further process. Candidates are requested to follow up on their results and the merit list that has been formed so they can easily fulfill the requirements for further counselling and admission procedure.

  • The result will be declared in online mode only. 
  • No other mode will be available to check the result.
  • After the declaration of the DUET result university will release the admission list which will contain the courses in pdf format.
  • University will also release the DUET 2022 merit list after the declaration of the result.

Step 1: Log in

  • Visit the official website 
  • Click on the link DUET Result and log in using the Application form number and date of birth and submit the details.

Step 2: Display Result

After submitting the details Result can be seen on the screen.

Step 3: Printout

Candidate must save and take print of the DUET Result 2022 for further process.

DUET 2022 Merit List

DUET 2022 Merit list will be published on the official website. Candidates who are included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the further round of the admission process as applicable to the respective course they have applied for. Merit List will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained on the DUET 2022 entrance exam.

Tie-Breaking criteria for DUET 2022

In case two candidates will get the same marks then tie-breaking criteria will be followed to shortlist candidates for the merit list. Given below are the rules that Delhi university follows to select such candidates:

For UG Course:
  1. Candidates with a higher percentage of marks (aggregate of best four subjects including one language) in the qualifying examination will be given priority for admission.
  2. In case of a tie still exists the candidates with the higher entrance test score will be considered first for allotment/admission.
  3. If the tie is still there then the applicant with a higher percentage of marks (aggregate of best five subjects including one language) in the qualifying examination will be given priority.
  4. Lastly, a candidate who is older in age will be given priority.
For PG Courses:
  1. A candidate with a higher percentage in Qualifying Examination will be given preference in the merit list.
  2. If the tie still exists, then the candidate with a higher percentage in the final year of a bachelor's degree will be given preference, then the preceding year, and so on.
  3. If the tie is still not resolved, then the candidates having higher aggregate marks (five subjects including one language) in class XII Board examination will be considered first for admission.

DUET 2022 Counselling 

DUET 2022 Counselling session will start after the declaration of the result. Candidates who have successfully qualified the DU exam 2022 examination can attend the counselling. The shortlisted applicants will be offered courses at different colleges based on their merit. The candidate has to carry the various documents for verification.
