ETT Punjab 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Selection Process, Admit Card, Application Fee

ETT Punjab 2023 Eligibility Criteria and requirements must be verified before filling out the application form by all candidates as listed below. Candidates who desire to enrol in a Diploma in Elementary Education or D.El.Ed course at a government or private affiliated institution can apply in SCERT Punjab D.El.Ed & ETT by filling out an application form of which all the details are mentioned in Punjab ETT 2023 Details.
According to the National Council for Teachers Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, the SCERT Punjab D.El.Ed & ETT Admission is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training or SCERT, Punjab to offer admission to candidates in Diploma in Elementary Education or D.El.Ed Courses in Government and Private Affiliated Institutions.

ETT Punjab 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- According to the ruling of the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, candidates for the General category shall not be older than 36 years old as of July 2023.
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Qualifications: Applicants must have passed the 10+2 final exam or a comparable test from a recognised board.
- Minimum Marks: They must have passed the qualifying examination with an aggregate score of at least 50%.
- Relaxation: Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or who are physically impaired are eligible for a 45 percent relaxation.

ETT Punjab 2023 Selection Process
Those interested in applying for the Punjab ETT 2023 or Elementary Teachers Test must first pass the State Council of Educational Research and Training's written test or SCERT. The final merit list will be compiled using the results of the written test as well as the results of the graduation class. Graduation marks will be included into the final merit list in the following way:
- Graduation with honours – 5 points
- Graduation from 2nd Class – 3 Points
- 2 Marks for 3rd Class Graduation
