FDDI AIST Eligibility Criteria 2022 is announced by the Footwear Design & Development Institute. Candidates appearing for the FDDI AIST 2022 must be aware of the detailed eligibility requirement. There are various eligibility parameters set up by the institution for the selection of the students. Basically two degrees are taken into account in the Institute i.e Bachelor’s and Master’s, hence check the eligibility accordingly. In order to fill the FDDI AIST application form and to move further in the admission process, one has to fulfill the FDDI AIST Eligibility Criteria. FDDI AIST 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Check the eligibility criteria of FDDI AIST as per the courses applying for:
Academic Qualification Course Wise
- BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES (B.DES. / BBA)
- 10+2, in any stream, from any recognized Board in India or in foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system; or
- School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or
- All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved three –years full time Diploma after Class X offered by Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory
(A candidate whose result has not been declared at the time of admission,, if selected, shall be granted provisional admission. They have to submit the result of the requisite examination on or before the 30th September 2022. If the result is not submitted then the candidate’s admission may be cancelled and the entire fee will be forfeited. Candidates have to provide proof of having appeared for the examination during the Counseling process of FDDI programmes.)
- MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMMES (M.DES./ MBA)
- Master of Design (M.Des.) in Footwear Design & Production: A Bachelor’s Degree in Footwear/Leather Goods/Design/ Fashion/Fine arts/ Architecture/ Engineering/ Production / Technology
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Retail & Fashion Merchandise : A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

Marks In Qualifying Marks
- At least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in 10+2 and graduation as per the courses applying for
- A minimum of 45% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the reserved category student.
Age Relaxation
- BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES (B.DES. / BBA): 25 years as on the 1st July 2022.
- MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMMES (M.DES./ MBA): No Age limit
Category Reservation
Footwear Design & Development Institute follows the government rule on the reservation policy. There is a certain percentage fixed for the reserved candidates.

Important Notes For The Reserved Category Students
The reserved category students who are going to appear for the exam must meet the requirement set by the institution.
They have to produce the caste certificate issued by the respective states/union territories. The certificates must be the latest of six months or 1 year.
If the candidate does not submit the caste certificate then they will be considered as the general candidates or sometimes their application will be rejected.
FDDI AIST Application Form 2022
The online form of the FDDI AIST for the session 2022 has been extended till 20th July. Candidates willing to appear for the exam, must check the eligibility criteria and fill the FDDI AIST Application form 2022 before the due date. After the last date is over no further entertainment will be done. Make sure to have all the documents required to fill the form.
