For admission to various Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Ph.D Degree Programs, an entrance exam is held. The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF is held in 73 subjects across the country in 88 cities to ensure participation in doctoral degree programmes in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Agri. Engineering, Community Science (formerly Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science, and other allied sciences. Admission is granted to a candidate who has completed a master's degree with a 3.0 overall grade point average (OGPA). ICAR AICE SRF/JRF 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Before completing the online application, candidates must ensure that they meet the ICAR AICE SRF/JRF eligibility requirements (PGS). Qualifications: Indian nationals who have completed a master’s degree programme with a minimum overall grade point average (OGPA) of 3.0 from any accredited Indian university are eligible to apply for the AICE SRF/JRF (PGS)
Age Requirements: The candidate must be at least 20 years old as of July 1st of the admission year. In the case of a minimum age limit, there is no opportunity for relaxation.
Exam Pattern for ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2022

Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Duration: The examination will take 2 hours to complete.
Marking Criteria: The marking scheme is as follows: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each incorrect response.
Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
No. of Questions: 120
Medium of Question Paper: English.
Section A (20 multiple-choice questions): The questions are based on general knowledge in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, dairying, fishing, and allied sciences, among others.
Section B (50 MCQs): The questions in this section are based on the PhD core group disciplines.
Segment C (50 MCQs): This section will consist of questions from specialised subjects opted by the candidate for pursuing PhD.

For the ICAR AICE SRF/JRF Results 2022, candidates should keep the following considerations in mind.
- The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF results are expected to be revealed in June 2022.
- The results of the ICAR SRF/JRF will be published on the NTA's official website. As a result, candidates must keep a close eye on the website. There will be no separate notification provided to any candidate if they are not selected.
- After the result has been declared, no requests for re-evaluation or re-checking of answer scripts will be considered.
