The following ISI Admission Test 2023 Eligibility Criteria must be met by aspirants:

JRF (Quantitative Economics) | Candidates must hold their Master's degree with Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics as a subject at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. |
JRF (Computer Science) | Candidates must have an M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Radio Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Microwave Communications, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or Bioinformatics/Biotechnology with Mathematics as a subject at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. OR M. Stat./ M.Sc./ M.C.A./ M.A. or an equivalent UG or PG degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronic Sciences/ Computer Science/ Atmospheric Science/Applied Mathematics/ Information Technology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology with Mathematics as a subject. |
JRF (Quality, Reliability & Operations Research) | Candidates must have an M.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Phil. or equivalent degree in Quality/ Reliability/ Operations Research, or an M.Stat./ M.Sc./M.A. or equivalent degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics with Mathematics as a subject at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics. |

Applicants who want to take the exam should be aware of the ISI Admission Test 2023 Pattern:
ISI's syllabus will vary depending on the course being taught. The UG course syllabus will include a variety of topics from the 11th and 12th grade academic curriculum. PG courses, on the other hand, will cover a variety of topics from related undergraduate courses. The whole syllabus for both UG and PG courses may be seen on the test conducting authority's website.
