JEE Advanced 2020 or Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020 is conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB), across the country. This year IIT Delhi will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2020. The exam is a National level entrance exam. Aspirants can pursue Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Dual Degree programs in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Sciences or Architecture through the JEE Advanced 2020 in all the IITs. JEE Advanced 2020 entrance exam will be held on 17 May 2020 for candidates who qualifies JEE Mains. There are certain changes expected in the pattern and exam centres. Also, the exam is likely to be held in the US also for the first time as decided in JAB meeting. The candidates who wish to appear in JEE Advanced 2020 must qualify in JEE Main as to secure a seat in one of the IITs. This article further tells about the JEE Advanced 2020 Eligibility, Application forms and other important details.
The JEE Advanced 2020 Application form will be available from the first week of May 2020 (tentative). Candidates must visit the official website to download the information brochure/bulletin for all the essential information related to the Application form. Candidates should consider the following steps while filling the JEE Advanced 2020 Registration form:
Step 1: Visit the official website and log in with the Registration credentials of JEE Mains.
Step 2: After login, provide the basic data such as Personal, educational qualifications and the choices of cities for the examination. The candidate will also get an option of adding a mobile number and email id, in addition to the credentials provided during JEE MAINS 2020 registration.
Step 3: Candidates need to upload the scanned copies of all the required documents listed below:

Step 4: Lastly, the candidates need to pay the registration fee.

Performance in JEE Main 2020
To be eligible to give JEE Advanced 2020, the candidate must be among the top 2,24,000 students (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2020. Given below is information regarding the percentage of various categories of candidates :

JEE Advanced Admit card will be available online from the second week of May 2020. The candidates who have submitted the JEE Advanced 2020 registration form successfully can download the Admit Card for JEE Advanced 2020:
Note: A copy of the Admit card is mandatory to be produced at the time of examination.

If the aggregate marks of two or more candidates are the same, then a tie-break policy is used for awarding ranks:
The JEE Advanced 2020 Results will be announced by the authorised zonal centre.
The counselling process for JEE Advanced examination for academic year 2020-21 will take place after the result is declared.
