The authority West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts the WBJEE JEEDEC or Joint Entrance Examination for Degree Evening Courses once a year. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has the authority to administer the entrance examination for the applicants. JEEDEC, on the other hand, is a state-level admission test held once a year for eligible students. The entrance test is held for individuals seeking admission to engineering programmes. Candidates who pass the exam are eligible to enrol in five-year engineering degree programmes. 
It is a State-level examination administered to admit qualified students to Jadavpur University's Bachelor's Degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering (five years of evening courses). Engineering courses are provided at Jadhav University in West Bengal. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will hold the JEEDEC 2022 test in June 2022, after the application procedure. WBJEE JEEDEC 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the given Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE JEEDEC 2022:
  • Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
  • Domicile: It is also necessary to have a West Bengal domicile.
  • Candidates must have completed class 12th or higher secondary school from a recognised board or its equivalent in West Bengal.
  • Marks: Candidates must also achieve a minimum of 60% on the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates can verify the age limit by reading the official announcement attentively.
  • Candidates must have passed a Diploma exam in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade point from a UGC accredited Indian university, government, or regulatory agency. 
  • Applicants from the SC/ST/PWD categories must score at least 45 percent in the qualifying test.
