KIITEE 2022 Exam Pattern

• KIITEE 2022 Exam Date: KIITEE Exam will be conducted in July 2022.
• Exam Mode: The test will be a Computer-Based Test (online).
• Medium: Question Paper will be available in English language only.
• Duration: Candidates will get 180 minutes (3 hours) to solve the entire question paper.
• Questions Type: The exam paper will be having multiple-choice questions only.
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 4 marks for the correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

Marking Scheme of KIITEE 2022

The marking scheme is released by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar alogn with information brochure. 

• The questions that are answered correctly offers four marks to the total marks of the candidates. While, every incorrect answer will cost the candidates 1 mark from the total.
•  As per the exam pattern of KIITEE 2022, the structure of the question paper will be in MCQs. Each question will have 4 options out of which the candidates will have to choose one correct answer.
• The candidates can switch between sections according to their feasibility.
• If the candidate has doubt about any particular answer, they have the option to mark that particular question as ‘Mark for Review’ so that they can ponder over it later without wasting any time.

KIITEE Exam Pattern 2022 - Terms/Functions to Understand the Computer Based Test

• Type of questions: The questions will be MCQ types, that appear one by one by one on the screen. In each of the sections, questions are followed by 4 answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. Mark your answer by clicking on the circle given after the answer.
• Switching/Skipping the Questions: You can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number, which will appear at the bottom of the screen. The answered question number will be marked Green and the unanswered/ skipped question number will remain in blue.
• Mark for review button: If you are doubtful of the answer, you can mark a question for review using the ‘Mark for review button’. This will be unmarked once you come back to the same question at a later time and change the answer.
• Change the answer: If you want to change the answer to any question, you may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.
• The sequence of a particular section: If you have completed answering all the questions in the sequence of a particular section, you will be automatically directed to the first question of the next section. Candidates can move between sections at their will.
• Confirmation page: In case you finish your test before the allotted time, you will get a confirmation page which will give you two options. Either to go back to the test or to complete the test.
• In case you want to review the answers in the remaining time you can do so, else you may complete the test and submit. Ensure that you click on submit as a sign of completion.
