LU Admission 2023 Syllabus

Candidate must be aware of the LU Admission 2023 Syllabus to prepare well for the exam. Given-below is the LU admission 2023 Syllabus in details:

• For UG Admission: There will be questions from 12th standard subjects from various boards like UP board, ISC and CBSE.
• For PG Admission: There will be questions form the subjects studied in Graduation. Candidate must check complete syllabus online before starting the exam preparation.

LU Admission 2023 Admit card

The LU Admission 2023 admit card will be released by the university on the university's official website within a few weeks of the exam date.

• As it must be carried on the day of review, the applicant must take the print of the hall ticket.
• All information concerning the LU Admission Entrance Exam 2023 will be included in the Admission Card.
• To download the admission card, the nominee must enter the registration number and password.
• In the event of an inconsistency found on the admission card, the applicant must contact the Authority immediately. 

LU Admission 2023 Result

University will release the LU Admission 2023 Result on the official website for Undergarduation courses and in July 2023 for Postgraduation courses. Candidates can check the result by entering the login details. The qualified candidate will be called for a counselling session. Applicants can view their rank and scores by entering their login details. Candidates must take print of the Result for future references.

LU Admission 2023 Counselling

Lucknow University Admission 2023 Counselling will start from the third week of June 2023 for UG Courses and from the fourth week of July 2023 for PG Courses. At the time of counselling, applicants are required to submit complete documents/certificates for verification. Seats will be allocated to the candidates as per the reservation policy and various other factors.

LU Admission 2023 Application Form

University has opened the application form window from 09 March 2023 for both UG and PG Courses.  Candidates will be able to fill the application form through online mode only.

• Read the prospectus carefully before applying.
• Candidates have to fill in the Personal & other Details, Educational Qualifications and Upload photo and signature as prescribed by the authority.
• Candidate has to pay the application fee to confirm the submission of the application form.
• Applicants cannot apply for two PG programmes at the same time.
• Candidate must take print of the application form for further process.

• Candidate must have completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with the 10+2+3 system from any recognized University by UGC and has secured a minimum of 45% marks at the graduate level and 40% in case of SC/ST. 

Candidate must have obtained a minimum requirement of 50% for general category and 48% foin case of SC/ST in LL.B. examination.

Lucknow University(LU)

The idea of starting a University at Lucknow was first mooted by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan, Khan Bahadur, K.C.I.E. of Mahmudabad, who contributed an article to the columns of "The Pioneer'' urging the foundation of a University at Lucknow. A little later Sir Harcourt Butler, K.C.S.I., K.C.I.E, was appointed Lieutenant-Governor of the United Provinces, and his well-known interest in all matters under his jurisdiction, especially in matters educational, gave fresh life and vigour to the proposal. The first step to bring the University into being was taken when a General Committee of educationists and persons interested in university education appointed for the purpose, met in conference at Government House, Lucknow, on November 10, 1919.
