About SCERT, Manipur

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) was established by the Manipur government in 1989. The State Institute of Education (S.I.E.) and the State Institute of Educational Technology (S.I.E.T.) were once two separate institutes (SIET). Following the merger of these two organisations, SCERT, Manipur was founded. SCERT was established in order to improve the quality of primary education.
