MP PAT 2023 (Vyapam Pre-Agriculture Test) Overview

1. MP PAT stands for Madhya Pradesh Pre Agriculture Test. It is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) for admission to various agriculture courses offered by colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
2. The exam is expected to be held in June 2023. The application process for the same will begin tentatively in May 2023.
3. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture as subjects are eligible to apply for the exam.
4. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is conducted in offline mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

For B.Sc. (Horticulture) courses:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed their class 12th or any equivalent exam from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Candidates must have qualified the exam with subjects as Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
• Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible for MP PAT.

For B.Sc. (Agriculture) courses:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed their class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Candidate must have passed the above qualifying exam with subject as Physics, Chemistry, English, and Maths.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible for the exam.

For B.Sc. Forestry:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed their Class 12th or equivalent course from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Candidates must have passed the above qualifying exam with the subject Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Biotechnology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
• A physical fitness test will be conducted for this course.

• There is no age limit.
• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidate must be resident of the state Madhya Pradesh, India.

MP PAT Exam Pattern 2023
