NATA 2023 Counselling Process: Step-by-Step Guide for Admission in Architecture Colleges

NATA 2023 Counselling Dates

The confirmed dates of counselling will be notified only after the exam is conducted. 

• The answer key for Test 1 is now available.
• The date for the 2nd NATA Exam has been changed to June 3, 2023.
• Registration is open for both the 2nd and 3rd NATA Exams.
• The last date for registration for the 2nd NATA Exam has been extended until May 22, 2023, 8 p.m.

NATA 2023 Counselling 

Before going for the counselling process, candidates can go through the below-given points:

• Exam conducting body(COA) does not conduct the centralized counselling for admission into B.Arch course. 
• Council of Architecture is only responsible for organizing the exam, the counselling is conducted by the institutes, candidates have applied for. 
• The counselling selection process will not be uniform in case of every institute. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria.
• To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to meet the cut off marks in both the parts i.e Drawing and Multiple choice questions. And also meet the aggregate of both.
• NATA scores are accepted in more than 477 institutes that offer admission into B.Arch courses.

NATA 2023 Counselling Process

Candidates must follow the below-given details:

• Candidates need to visit the official website of the desired Institute they are applying for.
• They have to register and fill the choice of seat
• Once they are done with choice filling and locking the final choice. They will be called for the next step in the counselling process.
• The candidates then have to get the document verification in the counselling centre wherein they have to carry all the documents as prescribed by the institute.
• The candidates are supposed to report at the allocated institute as per the defined time-frame.

Documents required during NATA 2023 Counselling

Candidates have to carry the following list of documents at the time of counselling:

• NATA 2023 Score card
• NATA 2023 Admit card
• Class 12 Marks Sheet/ Certificate
• Class 10 Marks Sheet/ Certificate
• Category Certificate( If applicable)
• Medical Certificate for PwD Certificate
• Caste Certificate( for SC/ST/Special Category candidates)
• Domicile Certificate
• Domicile for the state University Examination
• 3-4 passport size(recent photographs) in light background( as per the guidelines prescribed by the State University/ college/ Institute)
• Category Reservation Certificate for the candidates who are applying under Reserved category guidelines mentioned by the Institute.
• Certificate for Ex- Servicemen quota is different and must be provided in the format prescribed by the University/College.
• Transfer Certificate of the last Institute/ School they have studied from.
