The Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee conducts OJEE 2020 to shortlist the desirous candidates for UG and PG professional courses such as B.Pharm, M.Arch, MCA, ETC.

The applications will be submitted separately according to the courses. The interested candidates should submit their applications before the last date which is expected to be in March. Though the application mode is online yet it could be done offline too.

OJEE 2020 Application Form

For OJEE 2020 Registration, OJEE 2020 registartion form will be released online through the official website. To apply, the candidates need to register themselves on the official website by providing the relevant details such as name, email id, phone number. Once registered candidates can login and access the application form.

The candidates should fill all the details in the application form very carefully as no correction will be allowed after the last date accordingly. After the details, the candidates need to upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression on the application form.

Please note that there are different application forms for different courses which are given below:

  1. Form A: Pharmacy
  2. Form B: Engineering and Pharmacy Lateral Entry
  3. Form C: MBA, MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry)
  4. Form D: M.Tech, M. Arch, M. Pharm, M.Tech (Part-Time), M.Tech, M.Plan (PGAT)
  5. Form E: Application for Combination courses (MBA and MCA, MBA and LE- MCA, and MBA PGET etc.)
  6. Form F: Integrated MBA

Application Fee

The Exam Application Fee will be as follows:

Form A, B, C, D, and F:  Rs. 1000/-

For Form E:  Rs 1500/-

Mode of payment

  • The candidates can pay the application fee by using a debit card/ credit card (VISA / Master / Maestro cards/ internet banking).
  • The application fee can also be paid by cash in any SBI Branch via E-Challan or Demand Draft.

OJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to check the eligibility for the exam before applying. The Eligibility Criteria for some of the courses are provided under-

  • For B.Pharma: A candidate should have qualified class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocation subjects and have secured minimum 45% marks.
  • For Engineering & Technology (Lateral Entry): A candidate must have passed a 3-year diploma course from a UGC/AICTE/SCTE&VT institute securing minimum 45% marks in relevant discipline.
  • For MCA: A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree securing at least 50% marks and have mathematics at 10+2 level. BCA/B.Sc (IT/CS/IST/ITM) candidates are not compulsory to have mathematics at 10+2 level.
  • For MBA: A candidate must have passed 3/4/5 year bachelor’s degree securing minimum 50% marks from a recognized university/college/institute.
  • Tech: A candidate must have done B.Tech/M.Sc from a recognized university/college securing at least 50% marks.

OJEE 2020 Admit Card

The availability of the admit card will be there in April. Make sure to download at least two copies of admit card from the official website and do not forget to verify your information. After the registration process gets over, then download the admit card by entering the application number as well as password. The admit card comprises of the exam date, time, and venue, roll number, and so on.

OJEE 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus of OJEEE 2020 is different for all the courses. For admission to UG courses, the candidates need to study as per the curriculum of class 11th and 12th. For PG courses, the candidates should prepare as per the graduation level syllabus of the particular subject. However, important topics to be studied for some of the courses are as follows:

For B.Sc (Lateral Entry): Mathematics (Logic, Algebra of sets, Number system, Determinants and matrices, Trigonometry etc), Mechanics, Oscillations, Motion of charged particles in electric and magnetic fields, Electrostatics, Electrochemistry, Atomic Structure, Periodic Properties, Chemical Bonding etc.

For MCA: Mathematics (Logic, Algebra of sets, Number system, Determinants and matrices, Trigonometry etc), Computer Awareness (Introduction to Computer, Computer Arithmetic, C Language)

For MBA: Verbal reasoning, Analytical reasoning, General Knowledge, Comprehension, Computer and Business fundamentals

OJEE 2020 Result

The Result will be published on the website by online process. The Result will not be accessible to students who have not given the exam and will have to download it with the date of birth. OJEE 2020 Result will be published in the third week of May 2020. Candidates can view their rank and score through online mode. Merit list will be published online and prepared for each reserved category.

  • The students can take part in counselling based on their scores.
  • The Result will describe the student’s performance in the examination, their roll no, the name of examination and many more.
  • Students will access their scores from the official website.
  • The exam body will publish the score online. The merit list will be made by the concerned body as per marks gained in the Exam for several courses

OJEE 2020 Counselling

Counselling is generally conducted in the month of June after the result. The seats are booked via online only according to the courses and the colleges are chosen by individuals. Priority will be been given to the meritorious. During the OJEE counselling, the candidates have to bring the original documents with the Photostats with them for the verification process. When the candidate is satisfied with the allotment of seat, then he/she needs to report the concerned college to finish the admission formalities.

OJEE 2020 Tips for Preparation

The tips are very natural which we simply ignore always but we should try to implement these :

  • Go thoroughly through the syllabus and get an idea of the topics needed to be studied.
  • Plan a time table according to you on which you can work easily and won't be deviated further.
  • Go through the previous question papers over and over and try to solve them using a watch.
  • Always make short notes so that at last you will not be shuffled up.
  • Never forget to revise the topic when starting a new topic.
