PDPU 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification, Age Limit

PDPU 2023 Eligibility Criteria will be released on the official website of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. It was established by GERMI as Private University through the State Act. The university has four schools located on the same campus. The participating schools of the PAPU university are- School of Petroleum Technology, School of Technology, School of Petroleum Management, and School of Liberal Studies. University will conduct the entrance exam at the university level once in a year to offer admission in different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission in B.Tech and M.Tech is completely based on the marks of JEE Mains and GATE, respectively. Aspirants who wish o take admission in MBA will have to appear in CAT/XAT/NMAT exam, and for PhD courses, candidates must qualify in Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by the university.

B.Tech Course Eligibility: Applicants are required to pass class 12 or its an equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the compulsory exams.

B.Tech Lateral Entry Eligibility: Must the passing certificate of three or four years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

BA (Hons.)/ BBA (Hons.)/ B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Com.(Hons.) Eligibility: Must qualify the Senior Secondary Examination with relevant discipline from any recognized board.

M.Tech. Eligibility: Applicants must have BE/B.Tech degree or any equivalent degree from any recognized with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI/CGPA on a 10 point scale as an aggregate in all the semesters.

MBA Eligibility: Candidates must secure 50% marks for general category candidates or 45% marks for SC/ST category or equivalent CGPA in the Bachelor's degree or any equivalent qualifying degree of any University, incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature or recognized by the Ministry authority, Government of India

MA Eligibility: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern of education from any recognized University.

PhD Eligibility: M.B.A./M. Tech./M.E./A.C.A./A.I.C.W.A./A.C.S. level in relevant branch or its equivalent as recognized by UGC/AICTE in appropriate area with 55per cent marks (50per cent for SC / ST / Reservation Category)
