PU Admission 2023 i.e. Poornima University admission process has been started at the University Level. B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry), M.Tech, Ph.D., MBA, BBA, B.Arch, B.Des, and other programmes are available at the university. To give admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, this university will also examine the results of the national level entrance test (i.e. JEE (Mains) score for various Technical bachelors courses, GATE score for Master's courses). Poornima University is accredited by the University Grants Commission. Eligibility Criteria for PU Admission 2023

Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements in order for their application to not be cancelled at a later stage.

The following is information on the eligibility criteria for PU entrance in 2023:

Courses in B.Tech. 
Qualification Required

Candidates must have completed the 10th and 12th grades from a recognised board.

Minimum Marks 

Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50 percent on the qualifying examination. A minimum of 45 percent is required of ST/SC/PWD candidates.

Compulsory Subjects

Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the following disciplines from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Intellectual Property, and Computer Science are required subjects that the candidate must have studied and passed.

For BCA Courses

Must have completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for "SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC / SBC / Girls) from CBSE / comparable board.

For B.SC (PCM) Course

Applicants must have completed their 10+2 in the Science stream.

For B.Com Course

Should have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for "SC/ST/Non-Creamy Layer OBC/SBC/Girls) in aggregate from CBSE / comparable board in the Science/Commerce stream.

Hospitality & Hotel Administration (B.SC) Courses

The admission will be based on the NCHMJEE Entrance OR the NCHMJEE Entrance. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and English as one of the subjects (Core/Elective/Functional) from a recognised board. NCHMCT Norms apply to candidates born on or after July 1, 1995 (July 1, 1992 for SC/ST candidates).

For MBA Courses
Qualification Requirement

The candidate must hold a three-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Minimum Marks Requirement

Candidates must have a 48 percent overall average in the qualifying exam.

For MCA Course

Candidates must hold Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering (BCA) or an equivalent degree
OR

B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level with a minimum score of 50% (45% for "SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/SBC") (with additional bridge Courses).

For B.Tech (LE) Course
Qualification Required

Candidates must have earned a B.Sc. or a three-year diploma from a recognised institution or institute.

Minimum Marks

In order to pass the qualifying exam, the candidate must have a 50 percent total average.

Marks Relaxation

Candidates who are classified as ST/SC/PWD will receive a 5% grade reduction.

For Other Undergraduate Courses
Qualification Requirement

The candidate must have completed his or her 10th and 12th grades in India from a recognised board.

Minimum Marks Requirement

The candidate must have a 50 percent overall average in the qualifying exam.

Subjects Required

Candidates in the Science stream are required to have the following subjects: mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

For Other Post-Graduate Courses
Qualification Requirement

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (in their chosen field) from a recognized university or board.

Minimum Marks

Candidates must receive a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination.

Admit Card for PU Admissions in 2023

Candidates who want to take the national level entrance exam must go to the official website and download their admit card.

How to Get Your Admit Card?
  • Candidates may obtain PU Admission Admit Card 2020/ Hall ticket/ Call letter by visiting the official website's "Apply Online" section.
  • Then, in the required fields, enter the application number and password.
  • The admit card will be displayed on a new page.
  • Take a print out of your admit card and do not forget to bring it on the day of your examination or else you will not be allowed to take the exam.

Admissions to PU in 2023

  • On its official website, the PU Admission 2023 result/Poornima University 2023 merit list will be announced.
  • Candidates would only be allowed to view the PU Admission 2023 merit list online.
  • To check their results, candidates must enter their login ID and password.
  • Candidates can review their findings as well as download them in PDF format.
  • Candidates are encouraged to print their results and preserve them in a safe place for future reference.
