PPMET 2023 will be conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) tentatively in the month of August. The exam will be conducted to offer admission into B.Sc Nursing course. The admission is completely merit-based and the merit list is prepared based on the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. After the declaration of the result, the University will conduct physical counselling and the date/venue of counselling will be intimated later on through the University website. PPMET 2023 Application Form
The foremost step for PPMET 2023 is to fill out the application form available on the official website of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Before applying, the candidate should carefully understand the eligibility criteria for the examination. Interested candidates can go through the details regarding the registration process of the Punjab PMET 2023 application form:
- The applicants must fill in only one PMET 2023 form. Multiple forms will lead to rejection.
- Firstly, the applying candidates will have to register themselves by giving the following details:
- Name,
- Father's/ Husband's Name
- Gender,
- Email address,
- Corresponding Address,
- Mobile Number,
- Captcha, etc
Note- The candidates must check the below important notes.
- Applications for NRI seats in Government/University/Private colleges shall have to be sent to the University after obtaining an eligibility certificate from the University by August 2021.
- NRI candidates are not required to appear in the entrance test.
- NRI candidates have to obtain an eligibility certificate & apply on the prescribed admission application form.
Note: An error in filling out an ONLINE APPLICATION FORM may result in the rejection of such an Application Form. Corrections in the information given by the candidate in the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM may not be permitted after the conduct of PPMET.
PPMET 2023 Application Fee
After filling out the application form candidates must pay the required registration fee. The registration process will be completed only after depositing the application fee along with the application form. The registration fee details for the BFUHS PPMET 2023 is given below:
Mode of Payments: The registration fee can be via both online & offline modes.
- Online Mode: The candidates can also fill the application fee via Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking.

How to fill online application forms for PPMET 2023?
- After registering the applicants will get the user id & password on the registered mobile number.
- Now the application can be filled by giving the details required.
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph & signature.
- After the above steps, the fee is to be paid via credit card/debit card/net banking.
- Take the printout of the filled form & keep it safe for further use.
Note: Admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the affiliated institutions of this University in the State of Punjab are made on a merit basis through the conduct of Entrance Tests. The PPMET-2023 is being accordingly conducted to enrol suitable candidates in the Nursing Colleges of the State for session 2023
PPMET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility and qualifications will be as per Punjab Govt. Notification No. 5/7/2016-5HB- III/4488 and its amendments. Before applying for the exam candidates must go through the eligibility criteria of the PPMET 2023:
- The candidates should hold the degree of 10th & 12th examination from the school located in Punjab or Chandigarh for being eligible for Punjab PMET 2023.
- The applicant must have passed the 10+12 or equivalent from a recognized university/board.
- Must have passed the 12th examination with physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology with aggregate 45% marks & (40% marks for SC/ ST) from any recognized board.
- The candidates must be of 17 years on or before 31st of December of the year of admission.
Punjab PMETNote: Selection of the candidates to any institution shall be made on merit and in a transparent manner as per Punjab Government Notification/s.
PPMET 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must have all the information regarding the exam pattern of the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test 2023. The Test shall have one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Check the other details for the PPMET 2023 Exam pattern below:

Note: In all unattempted questions the fifth oval must be darkened otherwise if all ovals are left blank then that question shall carry one negative mark.
NEGATIVE MARKING: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. However, for security reasons fifth oval (i.e. E) has been introduced. In all unattempted questions, the fifth oval must be darkened otherwise if all ovals are left blank then that question shall carry one negative mark. Hence it is in the interest of the candidate not to leave all ovals blank in any question and one oval has to be shaded out of the five.

PPMET 2023 Admit Card
Candidates must know that the Admit Card is an important document to be carried to the exam hall. The other relevant details regarding the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test 2023 Admit Card can be checked below in the given points:
- The University will provide the facility of downloading Admit Cards of PPMET – 2023, along with a certificate which would be duly signed and attested from either the Principal or last attended School/Executive Magistrate.
- Once the Application Form will be successfully submitted by the applicants the competent authority will issue the Hall Ticket to the aspirants.
- Applicants can download the Admission Ticket from the official website by entering the login credentials.
- Admit Card/Hall Ticket will not be sent via post to an individual.
- Candidates must not change any entry made in the Admission Ticket.
- while going to appear in the exam one has to carry National Id Proof along with the Hall Ticket for verification proof.
PPMET 2023 Results
The competent authority will disclose the PPMET 2023 Results online on the official website. The result will be declared after the evaluation of the answer sheets submitted by the candidates. Check the other relevant information regarding the result below in the given points:
- The result will be available on the University website.
- The PMET Result List shall be declared Rank-wise, Roll Number wise and category wise.
- The Ranking shall be solely based on the result of PPMET 2023.
- The candidates will be able to download their Rank Card from the official website.
- The University will prepare a list of the applicants out of the successful candidates in the order of merit based on the PPMET 2023 Rank and the provisions of the Punjab Government.

Punjab PMET 2023 Merit List
The admission to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) is done based on the merit list published by the University. The merit list is prepared based on the Punjab PMET 2023 Result. Candidates must secure qualig=fying marks in PPMET 2021 to make it to the merit list published by the University. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible for further counselling rounds.
PPMET 2023 Counselling / Physical Counselling after the declaration of PPMET Result
BFUHS will conduct the Physical Counselling after the declaration of PPMET-2023 Result for those who will qualify for the entrance exam. The schedule of the counselling along with the venue/time etc. will be made available on the website.
- Candidates will have to attend the counselling as per the schedule and bring along the Original certificates/documents for verification.
- Candidates will also have to bring the online submitted admission application form along with self-attested photocopies of all the original documents.
- A counselling fee will have to be paid which will be told by the authority.
NRI SEATS: Applications for these seats in government, university and private colleges shall have to be sent to the University on or before the due date. NRI candidates need not appear in PPMET – 2020. NRI applicants will have to get an eligibility certificate from the university before applying for B.Sc. Nursing Course. The final status of the colleges/seats shall be displayed at the time of counselling. Notwithstanding the candidate's participation in PPMET-2021, only those candidates who are eligible as per the Prospectus, University Rules, and the Punjab Govt. Notification No. 5/7/2016-5HB- III/4488 and apply for admission shall be considered for admission.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab.
