TNSET Exam Pattern 2022

Mode of the Exam: Offline examination (OMR based)
Number of Papers: There are three papers in TNSET exam – Paper 1(1 hour 20 min), Paper 2(1 hour 20 min), and Paper 3(2 hours 20 min)
Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, +2 is given however, there is no negative marking in TNSET.

Nature of the Papers
Paper-I
Paper 1 is designed to evaluate the teaching/research aptitude of candidates.
It is primarily prepared to analyze the comprehension, reasoning ability, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidates
In this paper, 50 Multiple Choice Questions are asked each question carrying 2 marks.
Paper-II
Paper 2 consists of 50 Multiple Choice Questions that are compulsory questions.
These questions are on the basis of the subject selected by the candidate.
Paper-III
Paper 3 consists of 75 Multiple Choice Questions compulsory questions carrying 2 marks each.
The subject chosen by the candidates determined the question.
