Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test

To take the Teacher Eligibility Test, teaching candidates must be at least 18 years old.
Before 2004-05, candidates must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% and a 1-year D.Ed. or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (D.El.Ed.)

A minimum of 50% in the 12th grade and a four-year B.El.Ed. are required.

Candidates must have acquired 50% in their 12th and a two-year D.Ed (Special Education).

Any graduate with a two-year D.El.Ed. (or a one-year D.Ed. till 2004-05) (OR) a 50 percent score plus a B.Ed. degree can apply.

A bachelor's degree with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or a 1-year D.Ed. was required up until 2004-05.
