1. Firstly, open the Deen Dayal veterinary university official website.
2. Then, go into the link for academics.
3. Check for online application for admission to a different course. Click on the link and this will take you to a new page.
4. Fill in all the details as asked, upload the scanned copy of the signature, thumb & photograph and click on the submit button.
5. After successfully submitting the Mathura PVT application form 2023, take the printout of the registration form and keep it safe for future use.

UP Veterinary Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed 12 class examination with physics, chemistry, biology, and English is mandatory.
• The minimum class 12 percentage for general category candidates is 50%. The SC/ST/OBC candidates will be given 5% relaxation in percentage.
• The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years. SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

• The student must have passed the B.V.Sc & A.H. examination from a VCI recognized college.
• For admission to the Doctoral program, a master’s degree is compulsory in the respective field, with OGPA/ percentage equivalent to 6.5/10 for general category students, and for SC/ST/PH category students it is important to have 6.0/10 OGPA/ percentage. The guidelines given by ICAR and the OGPA formulae should be followed for the year in which the candidate has passed out.

• B.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Industrial Microbiology: students must have cleared class 12 examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate with physics, chemistry, biology, and English as main subjects. For SC/ST the minimum percentage required is 55%.
• M.Sc./M.V.Sc. Biotechnology: B.Sc. (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/B.Tech. (Biotech)/ B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc.(Fisheries) with a minimum percentage required is 60% marks in UG level for general category candidates and 55% marks for ST/SC Candidate.
• Diploma course in veterinary pharmacy and livestock extension
• Class 12 examinations must be cleared from U.P. Board or equivalent with physics, chemistry, biology, and English with 50% marks. The SC/ST/OBC candidates need to score only 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidate must have appeared for PDT (Pre-Diploma Entrance Test) 2020 conducted by DUVASU and must have cleared the exam to be considered eligible.
• All the mark sheet of the intermediate examination must be produced at the time of counseling.

UP Veterinary Exam 2023 Counselling

UP Veterinary Counselling 2023 will commence after the declaration of Results for B.V.Sc & A.H, M.V.Sc and Ph.D. for B.Sc. (H), Biotechnology/ Industrial Microbiology, and only qualified candidates will be considered for the counseling. UP Veterinary Admission through Pre Diploma Entrance Test

Admission in Diploma Courses of Veterinary Pharmacy and Livestock Extension courses will be done only based on the candidate's merit in the Pre – Diploma Entrance Test (PDET). For General and OBC candidates the cutoff marks in PDET will be 45% and for SC/ST candidates cutoff is 35%. Any other merit/ weightage shall not be considered for admission to the diploma program.

UP Veterinary Admission through Pre-Veterinary Entrance test

For admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H courses candidates have to clear the Pre-Veterinary Entrance test (PVT). The final selection of candidates in any course is based on the merit of the candidate in the main PVT examination conducted by DUVASU, Mathura. For admission in B.V.Sc & A.H program, interested candidates have to obtain the minimum marks in both preliminary and mains PVT exams separately. Cutoff marks for General & OBC are 50% and 40% marks are for SC/ST category candidates.

UP Veterinary Admission through Post Graduate Entrance Test

For admission in Post-graduate courses ( M.V.Sc. & Ph.D.) candidates must have qualified the PG Entrance Test with a good score. Admission is provided in both M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. courses. The minimum qualifying cutoff in PGET for M.V.Sc. is 50% for General and OBC, and 45% for SC/ST candidates. For Ph.D. courses, the minimum cutoff for PGET is 60% for UR and OBC and 50% for SC/ST candidates.

UP Veterinary Admission through Merit in Qualifying Examination

For admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology  /B.Sc. (Hons.) Industrial Microbiology, candidates must have merit in the qualifying exam i.e. Class 12 or equivalent, and as per the reservation policy of Uttar Pradesh. Seats remaining vacant in the reserved category (OBC, SC, ST) will be filled from the candidates of the unreserved category. However, there will not be any relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks for such candidates.
