Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2020 is a state-level exam conducted by Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)  for offering admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B. Tech, B. Arch, B. Pharm, BFAD, MCA, MBA, etc. and also the lateral entry applicable for B.Tech/B.Pharm /MCA. The Application Form of UPSEE will be available in January 2020.

UPSEE 2020 Application Form

  • The candidate who wishes to appear for UPSEE 2020 can fill the Application form which will be available on the official website from the fourth week of January 2020 to mid of March 2020.
  • The Application form can only be filled via online mode from the official website.

HOW TO FILL ONLINE APPLICATION FORM –

  1. Visit the Official website of UPSEE and click on the given Registration Link.
  2. Register yourself through a valid Email ID and fill in all the particular details asked in the Application Form carefully.
  3. Upload all the required details in JPG Form and ensure that the uploaded photograph is clear.
  4. Once the Application Form is filled, click on the Submit button and take a print out of the    Application form.

UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria 

To appear for the Entrance Examination, the candidate must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of the exam.

B.Tech( Agriculture  Engg.)

BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/B Voc MBA( Integrated)

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized institution.


For MCA, aspirants must have taken Mathematics either in graduation or 12th level


Minimum marks obtained should be 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates in aggregate

For second year( Lateral Entry) UPSEE Eligibility

Diploma in Pharmacy Minimum 45% marks in general and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying exams.

(B.Tech(LE)

(Paper 5 and 8)

Passed 3-years diploma in engineering or B.sc with Mthematics as one of the subject at class 12 Minimum 45% marks in general and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying exams.

MCA(LE)

(paper 5)

BCA, B.Sc IT/Computer science Minimum 50% marks in general and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying exams.

Through UPSEE exam, AKTU offers two types of reservations to candidates:  Vertical and horizontal.

UPSEE 2020 Admit Card

  • The admit card of UPSEE 2020 will be available online by mid of April at the official website.
  • Admit Card is an essential document for candidates to appear in the Entrance Exam, which the aspirants must keep with them. In the absence of the admit card, the candidate will be barred from the test.

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD –

  1.  Visit the official website of UPSEE.
  2. Click on download admit card link.
  3. Enter the application number and password.
  4. Click Submit and take a print out for future references.

UPSEE 2020 Results

Candidates can check the results that will be uploaded on the official website by the 1st week of June.

STEPS TO CHECK RESULTS –

  1. The Official website and click on the link “UPSEE 2020 Results”.
  2. Enter registered enrollment number and all the required details and click on the “Submit” button
  3. The result will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Results will show the marks obtained in the entrance exam along with merit position in the qualifying entrance exam.
  5. Candidates must download the result for future correspondence.

UPSEE 2020 Counselling

  • A merit list will be prepared based on the score obtained by UPSEE 2020. Candidates scoring higher marks would be placed higher in the merit list whereas those scoring lower marks would be at the bottom. 
  • The candidates will be required to carry all the important documents along with them at the time of Counselling and they need to be present at the designated location, otherwise, their seat will be taken up by the waiting list candidate. 
  • Candidates shortlisted for counselling would have to pay the registration fee to initiate the process. The registration fee would be INR 20,000 for general and OBC candidates and INR 12,000 for SC/ST candidates.
  • The registration fee would be non-refundable under any circumstance.

UPSEE 2020 Preparation Tips

  1. It is necessary for students appearing for any exam to  schedule their time accordingly. So a proper time table must be made for better management of time.
  2. Candidates must choose the right study material available in the market or from the internet. Solving previous year’s question papers and all available sample papers would prove to be of immense help. This would make it easy to understand the exam pattern, important topics and type of questions asked.
  3. The applicants should make notes while studying different sections of the syllabus. This would make it easy for them to understand the concept at the time of revision.
