VIT-AP 2023 Application Form: Online Form Released, How to apply?

Latest Updates:  

• Vellore Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh Application Form has been released on 11 November, 2023.
• PhD Jan 2023 result is declared on Dec 15 and the last date of guide selection is Dec 23. Further, the last date of fee payment is Dec 29.
• BTech 2023 via VITEEE application is open and the last date for the same Mar 31, 2023 tentatively.

VIT-AP Registration Form Dates

Candidates must check the release and the last date of VIT-AP registration form 2023 in the given table mentioned below:

VIT AP 2023 Application Form

• VIT-AP application is available in online mode only.
• In online mode, candidates can apply on the official website of the conducting body.
• In offline mode, candidates can purchase it from the conducting university.
• Those candidates who apply through online mode is not needed to submit their application form to the university.
• Candidates must check the VIT-AP eligibility criteria before applying.
• Candidates are not registered until their payment is successfully done.
• Once a candidate buys the OMR of the application form, they cannot return it and nor the university refund the registration fees.
• Candidates need to upload the scanned copy of the recent photograph and signature in the given format. 

Documents Required while filling out VIT-AP 2023 Application Form

There are necessary documents that the candidates need to provide while filling the VIT-AP 2023 Registration as proof of their eligibility for the examination. The list of such documents is given below:

• Marksheet of last semester/Degree certificate for certifying the qualification.
• Copy of Board's certificate to verify the candidate's name, Father's Name, Mother's Name and Date of Birth (DOB).
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• PwD Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Valid Id proof (Bank details/Voter Id/Passport/Ration card/PAN card or any Government Id)
• Scanned Photograph and Signature
• EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate if belong to that category

How to Apply for VIT AP 2023 Application Form Online?

• Enter into New applicant page and register yourself with required information
• Verify your registered email id and mobile number for the password received from VIT. (Keep this email id and password till the completion of the admissions)
• Fill the online application form. Cost of the online form is Rs. 600/-. The application cost is non-refundable.
• Pay the application fee Rs. 600/- through online mode using netbanking/Debit card / Credit card/Paytm mode.
• Upload your Photo and Sign image on the online application form
• To be assured that uploaded documents are clearly visible if not your applications will be rejected.
• Class-X mark sheet as a proof of date of birth
• Class-XII mark sheet of Qualifying Examination of all attempts (please ensure that you also enclose the reverse side of the marks sheet containing details.)
• Migration / Transfer / School Leaving Certificate (If available)
• Community Certificate (Only for SC / ST categories)
• Nativity Certificate ( (For candidates hailing from North eastern states and Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh)

• Name of the candidate as it is on XII certificate
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Religion
• Nationality
• Community: The candidates belonging to the MBC category should select the same code as OBC/BC

VIT AP Eligibility Criteria 2023

• Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2023 should have secured minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).             

• Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2023 should have passed with minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories:

After filling all the necessary details candidate need to upload the documents as prescribed by the authority. The specification is given below in the table

After uploading all the necessary documents, the applicant has to pay the application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee through Debit/Credit Card/Paytm and keep the transactions slip as proof of payment

Candidates are to take the printout of the confirmation page that is seen after the completion of the application process for future reference.

VIT-AP 2023 Application Form Correction

• The authority opens a window for a limited period. Candidates can make changes in the application form on the official website.
• Some details such as mobile number, email id and address cannot be changed.
• Candidates have to visit the official website regularly to know the exact dates when the corrections/modifications will be allowed.  
• No modifications will be communicated through email/fax/mobile.

• Wrong spelling of Name or other details.
• Uploading wrong photographs
• Changes in subjects name
• Changes in identification type or number

VIT-AP 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for VIT AP 2023 is provided below for candidates:

For B.Tech course:

• Nationality: The nationality of candidate should be Resident/ Non-Resident Indian National/ PIO to apply for admission.
• Age limit: Candidate must born on or after 1^st July 2001 to be eligible for admission.
• Qualification: Candidates must pass 12^th class from any recognized board.
• Marks: Candidates must obtain minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Subjects: In qualifying exam candidate must pass with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology as mandatory subject.

For BBA course:

• Qualification: Candidate must pass intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after 1st July 2003.
• Marks: Applying candidates must score at least 60% marks to be eligible.

For M.Tech. Course:

• Qualification: Candidates must have full time Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university/ institute.
• Percentage: Applying candidates must have score at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Appearing: Candidates those are appearing their final year will also be eligible to apply.

For M.Sc. in Data Science:

• Qualification: Candidate must be graduated from BA, B.Sc., B.Math., BE, B.Tech., etc. or equivalent from any recognized university.
• Marks: Minimum marks must be at least 60% marks to be eligible.
• Subject: Candidate must have Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Data Science in any degree of qualifying exam.
