VITREE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure their VITREE entrance exam eligibility criteria before applying. Given below are the details of the VIT Research Entrance Exam eligibility criteria to know they are eligible or exam or not:

Engineering Course Eligibility Criteria

• The aspirant must hold a master's degree in Engineering or Technology issued by any recognized university.
• Candidates must secure at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the qualifying exam or any equivalent exam.
• Those who have a passing certificate of M.S. [By Research.] / M.Sc. (Engineering) / M.Tech [By Research] are also eligible for the exam.

Science Course Eligibility Criteria

• Need to have a passing degree in Engineering or Technology from any recognized institute or university.
• Candidates are required to score 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 in the qualifying exam.

Languages Program Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants are required to pass the qualifying exam with minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a scale of 10 from any recognized university or institute.

Management Course Eligibility Criteria

• Require to have a qualifying degree of Master from any recognized institute or university.
• Candidates need to score 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 in the qualifying degree.

Law Program Eligibility Criteria

• Need to have a passing certificate of Master's Degree in law (LLM/ML) from any recognised university or college.
• The candidate must be qualified for their degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.

Fashion Technolgy Course Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have the M.Tech./ M.Fashion Tech/ M.E./ M.S.(By Research)/M.Tech(By Research) in the field of Textile Engineering/ Textile/ Fibre
  Science/ Fashion/ Apparel/ Garment/ Textile Chemical Processing published by the reorganised university or college.
• The candidate must be qualified for their degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.

Integrated Ph.D in Engineering/Technology Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be Bachelor’s in qualification with an outstanding academic record in the Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology (B.Tech).
• The candidate with an aptitude towards advanced technological and scientific research are eligible to apply for VITREE.
• It is mandatory for all the candidate to qualified their degree with a minimum of 80% marks or an 8.0 CGPA.
• The applicants who are appearing for the final examination can also eligible to apply for the VIT entrance test.

VITREE 2023 Internal Full Time and External Part-Time Category

• Internal Full-Time Category: The applicants who applied for Full-time category have to work for Ph.D / Integrated Ph.D degree on a regular time basis. These applicants have to be a part of project staff activities at the college.
• External Part-Time Category: Under the part-time category, the candidates are covered who are working as a teacher in other college and the applicants sponsored by R&D. These applicants can work on external part-time basis in Ph.D degree.
