VTUEEE 2023 Application Form

Candidate can visit the official website for filling the VEL Tech application form online. It is advised to follow the below instructions while filling up the application form.

• Candidates can register by providing the basic information.
• Registered Candidates will receive an email notification on the email id provided by them at the time of registration with their application number, password and the link to complete the application form.
• Make Fee Payment via net banking /Debit card/ Credit card.
• On successful completion of the form and payment, the candidate can download the online application form.
• Candidates must keep multiple copies of the admission form for the admission procedure.

Offline Applications can be filled via two options:

1. Candidates can send a Demand draft drawn in favour of “ Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology”, Chennai, to The Director - UG Admission along with a requisition letter which must have the full address of the applicant. 

2. Application forms can be purchased from the Regional Offices of Vel Tech by making a Cash payment.

3. By handing a DD in person at  Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai.

• Online Mode: Payment can be done through net banking/Debit card/Credit card in the case of online.
• Offline Mode: Candidate can send a Demand draft for Rs. 950/- payable at Chennai, to The Director – UG Admission along with a requisition letter which must have the full address of the applicant.

VTUEEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

VTUEEE 2023 Eligibility is stated below which carries information of Minimum educational qualification required, age limit, category wise reservation etc.

• Candidates who have not completed 25 years of age as of the First July of the year in which admission is sought are eligible.
• However, in the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Challenged candidates, the age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years.
• Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be considered authentic.
• Age relaxation up to six months may be granted by the Authority of the University in specific cases.

• Candidate must have passed in 10+2 (or its equivalent) examination.
• Those appearing for the Class XII final or equivalent examination in March/April/May 2023 can appear for VTUEEE.
• If a candidate wants to apply for Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the State or Union Territory from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th class examination from any State level or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another State or Union Territory.

• Candidate must have passed Class 12 or Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board/Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)/The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi)/National Institute of Open Schooling: Intermediate/two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or equivalent.
• Eligibility: A minimum of 60% marks in PCM/PCB in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination for admission into B.Tech Programmes 2020.

• The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education/Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester (Second year) of B.Tech in the branch corresponding to the branch of study.

OR

• The candidates who possess the Degree in Science (BSc) (10+2+3 stream) with Mathematics as a subject at the H.Sc. are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester of B.Tech.

Exemption from VTUEEE Exam

Candidates must ensure whether they are eligible to apply for VTUEEE 2023 and then proceed with the admission procedure. However, there are some cases where candidates can not apply for the VTU entrance exam. These are:

• The candidates who secured the first rank in the class 12 board exam conducted by the respective states will be directly admitted into the course of their choice with a full scholarship without having to write the exam.
• Candidates who missed the opportunity to appear for VTUEEE 2023 due to any reason, shall not be permitted for re-examination. The schedule once announced by the authority shall not be altered in any case.

VTUEEE 2023 Admit Card

VTUEEE 2023 Hall Ticket will be released one week before the exam date. Keep the given points in mind when it comes to VTUEEE Admit Card 2023:

• Admit Card of VTUEEE will be sent by post Under Certificate of Posting (UCP) to the candidate about two weeks before the conduct of the examination. However, the Institution will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to loss of Hall Ticket in transit or non-delivery.
• Candidates can download online admit cards by entering their application number and password generated during registration.
• It will be the responsibility of the candidate to contact either the helpline or write to the Institution in case he/she has not received the Hall Ticket at least 15 days before the date of the examination.

VTUEEE Merit Scholarship 2023

Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination

VTUEEE is university level entrance exam conducted by VelTech University. Last year 10000 students appeared in the exam across India. The result of VTUEEE will be declared in online mode for both the phases of exam separately and applicants can check it by using their application number and date of birth.
