Life at Akal University
Admission Experience:
No entrance exam is conducted for admission into the undergraduate courses. The minimum eligibility for getting admission is that the candidate have secured at least 60% marks in senior secondary examination. The Admission form can be filled both online or offline. The admission process is easy and quick. I Joined the Institute in August 2021.
Placement Experience:
University have active Placement Cell that provides career assistance to the students after completing their courses. Job fair is organized every year where renowned companies visit and recruit the students. University has tie up with more than 15 companies for placement and internships of the students. However, I have not availed any internship during the course due to COVID pandemic.
Conclusion:
The Akal University is one of the leading universities of India. The university is divided into 8 Blocks named as Block-A, Block- B and so on according to the different departments and courses. The departments have well equipped laboratories, separate libraries in each block. The class are equipped with smart class systems. The university has a central library with access to International magazines, Journals, Research Papers and a stock of over 1.2 lac books. Online portal is provided to the students for their easy connectivity to the university officials. University has separate hostels for Boys, Girls and International students. Option of AC/ Non- AC room is available for the students according to their choice. Educational tours, industrial visits, Short trainings are provided to the students to develop job oriented skills in them.
