AWU Jorhat Admission 2022 for BA and BPT 

Assam Women's University admission in BA with one specialization and BPT course of three years with a maximum of 25 candidates capacity in each course. Candidates who clear their 12 class examination with a minimum of 45% marks in any course are considered eligible to get admission to BA in the Psychology program. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the Physiotherapy program is candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Admission to both the programs is given on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the University.

• Only female candidates are able to take admission.
• Candidates must their age 17 years as of 01 August of the examination year.
• University provides 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.

AWU Jorhat PG Admission 2022

Assam Women’s University gives admission to MA with 8 courses, M.Sc. in Fashion Design and Technology, along with MCA, MBA, MTTM, and MLIS course. Each course is of 2-years duration with a total of 25 students in each course.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the MA program is candidates must clear their graduation in any program with a minimum of 45% marks. Those who have B.Sc. in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible to get admission to the M.Sc. program. Candidates who have done Bachelor’s degree in any specialization with not less than 50% marks are eligible to join the MBA program. Those who hold a minimum of 45% marks in Graduation Degree are eligible to get admission to MTTM and MLIS courses. Applicants who have done BCA or B.Sc. in CS/ IT/ Electronics or PGDCA or Graduation in Mathematics or Statistics with the minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to MCA.

Admission to all the programs is done on the basis of a written test conducted by the university. For M.Sc., admission is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. In MBA and MA in Mass Communication, the university also conducts GD/PI along with a written test.

• In MBA and MTTM entrance exams, questions will be asked from the current affairs, quantitative, reasoning, and English.
• In MCA and MLIS entrance exams, questions are from reasoning, English, and computer basic.
• For the Mass Communication exam, questions will be asked from current affairs, northeast culture, media, language, comprehension/grammar.
