BHU Varanasi Admission 2023 is based on the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) to be held from 21st May to 31st May for UG courses and from 1st June to 10th June for PG courses. Admission through BHU UET in Banaras University
Banaras Hindu University conducts BHU UET for admission in various undergraduate courses offered the university and its affiliated colleges. BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test is conducted at the university level only and more than 5000 seats are filled on basis of candidate score in this exam. BHU UET is conducted in offline mode i.e. Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode as well as online i.e. Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
BHU Varanasi PG Admission 2023
Banaras Hindu University conducts a Postgraduate Entrance Test i.e. BHU PET for admission in various PG level courses. Candidates must have a relevant graduation degree with at least 50% marks for admission in these courses. Qualified candidates have to attend the counselling process for admission. Banaras Hindu University offers admission in various specialisations of MA and MSc programmes at PG level for the duration of two years. BHU also offers admission in professional courses like MCA, MBA, MCom and MTech at the postgraduate level. BHU Varanasi Admission 2023 Application Process
BHU admission 2023 is conducted through the online mode only at the official website. All the candidates are advised to fill the application form before BHU admission last date 2023. The candidate can follow all the step to fill the BHU application form which is given in the list below:
- The candidate must visit the BHU official website i.e. https://www.bhu.ac.in/.
- Then click on the "Admission" button which will be present on the main page.
- Register on the website with the Valid ID, password and contact number to start the application process.
- Fill the BHU application form and selected the interesting courses.
- Pay the application form fee for the final submission.
- The candidate can pay the application form fee through the online payment via Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI and Net Banking.
- Finish the application form by click the "Submit" button.
- After submitting the application, no window will open for BHU admission form correction.

BHU Reservation Process 2023
The University offers category-wise admission reservations to all the candidates as per the given percentage:
- 15% & 7.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
- 27% reservation to OBC category candidates (excluding under creamy layer) will be provided in different courses
- 3% seats shall be reserved for Pwd: Visually Impaired (1%)+ Hearing Impaired (1%) + Orthopaedically Handicapped (1%)
- 15% seats out of a total number of seats in M.P.Ed. are allocated for female candidates. In case any such seats remain vacant, then leftover seats are allocated to all male candidates.
- 15% supernumerary seats in all the courses (including special courses) shall be available for the sons/daughters (including married daughters) of permanent employees (including those on probation) of BHU currently in service
- There is provision for supernumerary “PAID SEATS” (not exceeding 15% of the total number of seats) in certain courses.
- Provision to the extent of 15% supernumerary seats for Foreign Nationals exist, out of which 5% seats will be filled up by children of NRIs and 5% by children of Indian workers in Gulf and South Asian Countries.
BHU Admission 2023 Scholarships
Banaras Hindu University offers various scholarships and financial assistance to the meritorious and needy students:
- Blind students are offered free dinner and lunch under the Annadaan Yojna as well as 20 blind students receive Rs 5,000 per annum each
- 100 students coming from economically weak backgrounds are granted a scholarship Rs 2,000 per annum
- Pyare Lal - Prem Vati Memorial Scholarship worth Rs 10,000 is awarded to the student enrolled in the MBA programme who tops the first year exams
- Dr. SN Ranade Scholarship is offered to the academically best students enrolled in the MBA Agri-Business programme
