Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research( BIHER) is a Private-Deemed University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The university was formerly known as Bharath Engineering College. Bharath University is recognized by University Grants Commission(UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC). BIHER Chennai has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). The institute was established in the year 1984.
