Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU)
Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU), formerly Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre, is a state university in the city of Jind, Haryana, India. Established in 2014, the university offers postgraduate courses. The Regional Centre started functioning in August 2007 with 2 programs (MCA and MBA) and 4 Lecturers, 2 for each program. The numbers of students were 84. The university was inaugurated on 25 July 2014 and recognized by the University Grants Commission as a state university.
The University ensures proper implementation of various schemes of the UGC/Government of India/StateGovernment concerning admissions, scholarships, etc. for the welfare of the students of reserved categories. For the convenience of students, the scholarship application form is made available to them by notifying to all the heads of the departments concerned. The University maintains the constitution of the bodies i.e. Faculties, Executive Council, Academic Council, University Court, Finance Committee, Academic Planning Board, DRC, PGBOS&R, UGBOS, and Sports Council. The university has research facilities spread throughout the state of Haryana.
