Chennai Mathematical Institute CMI Admission 2023 is based on Entrance Exam conducted by Institute. Chennai Mathematical Institute was established in the year 1989 is a premier research and education institute in Chennai, Kerala, India. CMI was earlier located in T.Nagar in the heart of Chennai in an office complex. It moved to a new 5-acre (20,000 m2) campus in Siruseri in October 2005. CMI was recognized as a university under Section 3 of the UGC and known as the deemed to be a university. It offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences besides its key strength in the form of high-end research in Mathematics. CMI is noted for its research in the field of Algebraic Geometry. The university offers campus placement to its students and for the same, it provides training to the candidates to face the challenges of the corporates.
