• For the B.Tech admission, one needs to appear in JEE Mains exam. 
• For B.Arch admission, one needs to appear in the NATA exam. 
• UG courses admission, candidates have to appear for the  DEI entrance test. 
• For MBA: On the basis of the test conducted by DEI followed by Group Discussion and Interview
• For M/Tech, a GATE score is needed.

The subject wise eligibility of Engineering and Architecture programs is mentioned in the table below:

• Relaxation of 5%in aggregate marks will be given to SC/ST and PwD candidates.
• The upper age limit of candidates is 21 Years (24 years for SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses.
• Admission to B.Tech Electrical Engineering (Part-Time) course is available only for male candidates.

DEI University also offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BFA, B.Voc, and B.Ed courses at the Undergraduate level. Candidate must have completed 10+2 in a relevant subject is from a recognized board to be eligible for admission in UG courses. But for B.Ed admission, candidates must have completed a Graduation degree in any discipline. 

Admission is done based on the marks in the 10+2 examination and in the Written Test conducted by the university itself followed by an interview. To be eligible for the interview round, candidates have to qualify for the Written Test by scoring at least 30% marks.

• Only female candidates can apply for BA (Hons), BFA, B.Sc (Home Science) and BA Social Science (Hons.) courses.
• Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

At postgraduate level, the university offers M.Tech (Regular, Part-Time & Integrated), MBA and PG Diploma programmes in various streams. For admission in M.Tech, candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech degree in relevant discipline.

• Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline can apply for the MBA program.
• For PG Diploma courses, Graduation in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria.

DEI Institute also offers MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed and M.Voc courses in several disciplines at Postgraduate Level. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in all PG courses is having a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Admission will be provided based on the academic performance and score in the entrance exam (Written Test) followed by an interview. Dayalbagh college also offers MA and M.Sc programs in Integrated mode.

• MA in Drawing & Painting/ Music and M.Sc (Home Science) Courses are available for female candidates only.
• Students who had applied for any UG or PG course offered by DEI and could not succeed to secure admission will get one chance to transfer their applications to a PG Diploma program subject to the eligibility criteria.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute M.Phil & PhD Admission 2023

In addition to UG and PG courses, DEI also offers M.Phil & PhD courses in various specializations. For admission in M.Phil & PhD, candidates must hold a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. 

Admission to M.Phil & PhD is done based on the score in Written Test and RET (Research Entrance Test) respectively. Final admission will be provided based on the past academic record, performance in Entrance Test and interview. 

• Application Form for PhD admission is available twice in a year in February & August and can be submitted till 01 March and 01 September every year respectively. 
• Candidates who have qualified the NET-JRF/ NET-LS/ SLET or GATE exam are exempted from RET.
• Permanent faculty/teacher of DEI with at least two papers published in a standard Journal are also exempted.
• Students who have completed M.Phil from DEI are also exempted from RET.

• Only female candidates can apply for M.Phil courses in the Faculty of Arts.
• Candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC and PwD category will get a 5% relaxation.

DEI Research Entrance Test (RET)

RET is an entrance test organised by the university itself to provide admission in PhD and M.Phil programme. The test will be of 90 minutes (one and a half hour) and consist of three sections as mentioned below:

DEI Agra is an open institute in the Uttar Pradesh city of Agra. It provides two undergraduate, two graduate, and a variety of diploma and certificate programmes. Placements for DEI Agra 2023 Distance Learning

Students who wish to work after successfully finishing their course are offered with placement assistance. A Central Coordinator (Distance Education Placement) at DEI-DEP Head Office and a proper administrative structure with a Training & Placement Officer (TPO) at each Information Centre make up the DEP Placement Cell.
Students from local Information Centers are invited to an interview at the Job Fair, where 20 to 40 employers come to conduct interviews in the same way they do on campus and hire a big number of students.
If a student does not qualify for one company, they will be invited to participate in multiple interviews.

Every year, 5 to 7 Employment Fairs are held in various places, with roughly 600 students receiving job offers near to their homes.

DEI's Distance Education programme began in 2004 with the goal of spreading the benefits of DEI's creative, inventive, and esteem-based instruction to all segments of society, particularly the weaker parts and women living in remote and tribal areas.
