Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV) Admission 2023 is based on the entrance examination. DBSKKV is an agricultural university at Dapoli in the Ratnagiri district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. DBSKKV was established on 18 May 1972 as Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth and then got its present name Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidhyapith on 12 February 2001. Some patented varieties of rice are developed by its research center Karjat. It is mainly known for rice, horticulture, and fisheries. It received an award named Indian Council of Agriculture Research for the best institute award. The institution is recognized under UGC. With a vision to improve crop production technologies, the government of Maharashtra started this university.
State Common Entrance Test has been done mandatory for admission to the Undergraduate Courses (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Community Science, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Business Management) in Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Dr.Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli in Maharashtra State from the academic year 2018-19.

For admission to the UG courses, candidates must have passed class 12 from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
