• For admission in BE, BE (Lateral Entry), MBA, MCA (Regular+ Lateral Entry) courses, candidates must have a valid score in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE).
• Admission to all UG courses is done on the basis of the marks in the 10+2 examination except for B.P.Ed, BFA, and LL.B programs for which the university will conduct an entrance test.
• University conducts entrance test followed by counselling for admission in all PG courses.
• Admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. courses is completely based on the marks in an entrance test conducted by the university itself followed by an interview. 

Admission Through UPSEE

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Admission to various professional courses offered at undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels at all the UPSEE colleges. Through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), candidates can get admission to about 841 colleges affiliated to AKTU along with other universities in the state of Uttar Pradesh

• Candidates must score 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category) in 10+2 or its equivalent examination to be eligible for admission.
• They have completed a 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology as one of the subjects.
• Minimum eligibility for admission in BE (Lateral Entry) is to have a B.Sc (PCM) or Diploma in the relevant discipline.

• There are no age criteria for appearing in UPSEE exam.
• Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the current year are also eligible to apply.
• The admission will be based on merit in UPSEE and 10+2 qualifying examination.
• In the case of vacant seats after UPSEE counselling, the university offers direct admission to BE program on the basis of merit or university-based entrance test.

DBRAU offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, LL.B, B.P.Ed, NFA, BBA & B.Lib.Sc courses at Undergraduate level along with Diploma in various disciplines. For admission in UG level courses, 10+2 in a relevant subject is the minimum eligibility criteria except for B.P.Ed, B.Lib.Sc and LL.B courses.

• For admission in B.P.Ed, B.Lib.Sc and LL.B courses, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Admission in all UG courses is done based on merit in 10+2 or Graduation in case of B.Lib.Sc, B.P.Ed & LL.B.

Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University offers MBA and MCA courses in regular as well as lateral entry modes. Candidates should have completed a Graduation in the relevant field fo admission. UPSEE qualified candidates are also eligible for admission in MBA and MCA courses. 

MBA (Part-time) program requires relevant work experience also along with a bachelor’s degree. The eligibility and selection criteria for MBA & MCA courses is given below:

At PG level, the university also offers MA, M.Sc, M.Ed, MSW, MHRM, M.Lib.Sc, MMC & LL.M courses in different specializations. The minimum eligibility is the Graduation in the relevant field for admission to these courses. Admission will be provided based on the performance in the entrance test conducted by the university followed by counseling.

• To be eligible for admission in research programs, candidates must have completed a Master's degree in the related field. 
• Also, candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the master's qualifying exam.

DBRAU  the application process will start in May 2023 for UG courses and PG courses. The process of application takes place in an online and offline mode.  The mode of the application fee payment is through net banking or through demna d draft. Before making the final submission of the application, one must check all the details entered in it. Students can apply either through online mode or offline mode. 

How To Apply For Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University?

1. Candidates need to visit the DBRAU official website and fill the application form.
2. Pay the application fee amounting to Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 700/- in case of SC/ST candidates).
3. The application/registration fee can be paid through a Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
4. A demand draft (Non-refundable) has to be drawn in favor of “Finance Officer, Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra” for Rs. 700 (for general/OBC) and Rs. 500 (for SC/ST category).
