Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) Admission 2023 will be based on different entrance exam conducted by state government. Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) was established in 2011, located in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is a Government University and is affiliated with University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of technology, pharmacy, hotel management, management, and science.
Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria as per State/Central Government rules. Only a Himachal Bonafide applicant will get the benefit of reservation for admission whereas the candidates belonging to other States will be treated under General Category.

HPTU B.Tech Admission 2023
The university offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program with ten different specializations at the undergraduate level. The university also offers B.Tech lateral entry (direct admission in the second year) for the duration of 3 years.
HPTU will conduct Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) to provide admission in the B.Tech program. The university also accepts the JEE Main score for B.Tech admission and more preference will be given to rank holder in JEE Main.

HPTU Cutoff for B.Tech Admission
Here is the minimum cutoff marks required for admission into B.Tech program:-

Note:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will get a relaxation of 5% .
