HP University B.Tech Admission 2023

The university offers B.Tech program in both Regular and Lateral Entry modes. HPU provides admission based on the entrance test conducted by the university itself. 

• The maximum age limit for admission in B.Tech is 22 years. 
• Candidates must have at least five years of work experience in Government organizations or PSUs in the relevant field for the admission under Sponsored category under Lateral Entry mode. 
• 10% seats of the total intake are reserved for women, economically backward and PH candidates in the ratio of 2:3:1.

HP University M.Sc (Nursing) Admission 2023

At postgraduate level, the university offers M.Sc (Nursing) with various specialisations and the minimum eligibility required for admission in B.Sc (Nursing) or PB (Nursing) with at least one year of work experience.

Candidates need to qualify the entrance test with 50% marks ( 40% marks for reserved categories) to secure admission in this program.

HP University M.Sc (Nursing) Application Process 

Candidates need to fill the application form by visiting the official website of the university. Also, they need to upload the scanned copy of the required documents and pay the application fee of Rs. 2500 (Rs. 1250 for reserved categories). 

• Application fee can be paid either through Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.
• Once the application fee is paid, submit the duly filled application form and save the registration number for future use.

HP University UG Admission 2023

At the undergraduate level, Himachal Pradesh University also offers BDS, MBBS, BHM, BBA, BCA and LL.B courses. Candidates must have completed 10+2 level from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination.

HP University PG Admission 2023: MBA, MCA, M.Tech and LL.M

Himachal Pradesh University offers various courses at postgraduate level. The PG courses which are offered by the university are MBA, MTA (Masters of Tourism Administration), MRD (Masters in Rural Development), LL.M, M. Com, MCA, M. Tech, MMC (Masters of Mass Communication) and PGDMC (Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication). 

The university will conduct entrance test for M.Tech admission. Also, 20% extra marks, in addition to the marks obtained in the entrance test will be given to GATE/ NET/ SLET in Computer Science or engineering qualified candidates.

Admission to MBA program is done based on the university-based entrance test- HPUMAT followed by Group Discussion and personal interview conducted by the university itself. Candidates have to secure at least 35% marks to qualify the entrance test conducted by the university.

HPU also offers B.Ed & M.Ed courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level respectively. The candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in these programmes. Seats will be allotted based on student's performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university.

HP University Application Process 2023

Students who are willing to take admission in Himachal Pradesh University can apply by filling the online application form. The application form will be available on the official website of the university once the application process starts.

• Visit the university's official website.
• Select the course candidates wants to apply and fill the application form.
• After filling the form click on the "Save" button and a unique Registration Number along with the password will generate. 
• Now, log in again with the registration number and password.
• Upload all the necessary documents and click on the "Continue and Save" button.
• Now, candidates have to pay the application fee by click on the "Make Payment" option.
• The application fee can be paid either through Debit/Credit card or Net Banking. 
• Once the application form is paid click on the "Submit Application Form".
• Candidates must take the printout of the application form after submitting for future reference.
• Also, they have to carry the printout of the application form along with all required documents in original at the time of counselling.
