As a foremost step, students need to register on the official site of the university by following the given steps:

- Choose the desired program and download the respective application form
- Fill the required details in the application form as needed, sign it and retain a photocopy
Send the application form along with the attested copies of required documents (date of birth certificate, Class 10 & 12 marks sheet, domicile certificate and passport-size photograph) to the University address with a demand draft of Rs 300 drawn in favor of 'The ICFAI University, Mizoram - Fee Collection A/c' payable at Aizawl.

ICFAI University Special Reservation
- There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Mizoram in any course of ICFAI University, Mizoram or in a constituent college, within the State of Mizoram, which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) percent of seats in each course/discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above.
- Seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to students belonging to Open Category.
ICFAI University Merit List
ICFAI University Mizoram will release the merit list in an online mode. The merit list of the aspirants is declared under the notice of the University. Candidates have to login using application number and password to access the merit list. All those who have succeeded in the exam can go through the result and know the marks. The marks will be the basis of the selection of students. So after downloading it, they can produce it during counseling with original copies.
