The Indian Institute of Space Sciences and Technology ( IIST), is a Deemed to be a university that was formed in 2007. It was made an Autonomous body under the Department of Science and is sponsored by ISRO, recognized under the UGC grant. It is located in Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram. The institute offers various courses in undergraduation, post-graduation, doctoral and post-doctoral in the field of Space Sciences, Space Technology, Space Research, and space applications. The candidates can take admission into any course through the National Entrance Test by JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, UGC NET, JEST, etc. It is to be noticed that the institution conducts no Entrance Tests. IIST Application 2023
Admission to the institute takes place through the all-India national entrance test. At the same time Rank card of the respective competitive exam ( JEE , GATE, UGC NET ) required as per the courses.

IIST Admission 2023 Form Filling Process
Candidates can follow the simple process in order to fill the form :
- Firstly , visit the IIST online application form
- Click at the link of “ Admission 2023” .
- The application form page will appear.
- Starting from the personal details toll the academic details candidates should fill in all the required information carefully.
- Then upload all the necessary documents that are being asked to submit ( photographs, signatures, etc)
- Click on the “ submit” button.
- After the registration, candidates will receive their registration number and password. It is mandatory for candidates to take note of this number for further information to be generated in future.
- After registration, the fees are to be paid. The candidates can choose the desired mode of payment either through ( debit, credit card . net banking) and make the payment.

The pattern of the exam is such that it will test the proficiency of students with the basics of students . The aspirants will only have 2 hours to attend the test . The entrance test will be conducted in the form of MCQ . The paper would be divided into 3 sections : -

IIST Result
IIST offers UG/PG and research programmes in 7 departments. For the admission purpose, the entrance exam is being conducted. The result of the entrance exam is conducted for each course separately. To get the results candidates can follow the following steps-

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a government-aided university established in 2007 is located in Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram is an excellent university for candidates interested in studies of space research and astronomy.
