JUIT Solan Admission 2023 will be conducted on the basis of various examinations. For admission to the PhD Program, candidates who have qualified NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR (JRF) are exempted from the entrance test conducted by JUIT. All other non-NET/SLET qualified candidates must appear for the entrance test and selection offers will be made to qualified candidates based on their merit. Additionally, for B.Tech, applicants must clear JEE Main and for M.Tech, GATE or PGET score by JUIT is necessary for selection. The Jaypee University of Information Technology was established in the year 2002 as a private entity located in Wanaghat, Himachal Pradesh. JUIT Kangra offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctorate courses in various specializations in the Engineering discipline. JUIT Solan BTech Admission 2023

JUIT Solan MTech Admission 2023
JUIT offers an M.Tech course in multiple specializations. For admission in MTech program, candidates need to appear in GATE exam or qualify the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by JUIT. JUIT Solan offers Ph.D. in 8 specializations. Admission to the Ph.D. program is purely based on the entrance test conducted by the university. Candidates should have completed their Master’s degree in the relevant field to be eligible for admission. Candidates with NET/SLET/UGC NET/CSIR (JRF) are exempted from the entrance test conducted by university if they submit the proof of the same. JUIT Solan Application Process 2023
Application Form is available in both online and offline mode. Candidates can follow the below-given steps to apply for the respective course for the online mode:
- Visit the official website of JUIT i.e. www.juit.ac.in and click on the tab JEE Based Admissions.
- Fill the application form with correct information
- Next, Pay the application fee i.e Rs 1200for UG programmes or Rs. 1000(for PG/ PhD programmes) through credit/debit card/net banking.
- Candidates will be given an Application ID number which must be saved for future references.
- Next, the candidates have to upload their photograph and signature as well as their parents’ signature.
- Take the printout of the application form.
- Send the printout of the application form to ‘Admission Cell, JIIT, Noida’.
- Candidates who have opted for online application but have chosen the option to pay through Demand Draft must send the registration form to ‘The Registrar, JIIT’.
Note: For the offline mode, candidates can either download the Application Form from the official website or they can also avail it from the Jaypee University of Information Technology(JUIT) campus through Demand Draft.
Reservation Criteria
JUIT follows the reservation policy of the state of Himachal Pradesh. In addition to that,
- There is a 10% reservation for candidates belonging to the state of Himachal Pradesh if they completed their qualifying examination from the State.
- SC/ST candidates shall be given a relaxation of 10% in the cut-off.
- NRI candidates shall be given only merit-based seats.
Scholarship: JUIT provides its students with few scholarships like the William Webster Merit-cum-Means Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to those students admitted to the Jaypee Education System across the three campuses.
