KIIT University Admission 2023 to all the courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental) will be ONLY through KIITEE 2023. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a private deemed to be university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It is formerly known as KIIT University and was established in 1992. The university was founded by Achyuta Samanta and is affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC), NAAC and ACU. The university offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research programmes with several specializations through its affiliated colleges. Different scholarships, stipends, and free relaxations are available in KIIT, Deemed University.
The university conducts an entrance test namely KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination) for admission in various courses except for MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, and MDS. Admission to these courses will be done based on a valid score in national-level exams. KIIT University follows a common application process for offering admission to all courses. 

Admission Through KIITEE 2023

Admission to all the courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental) will be ONLY through KIITEE – 2023.

  • Application Form and Prospectus will be available online only. It will not be available in hard copy. Candidates have to apply online at KIIT official Website or they can download it from the website.
  • The online Application form is available from December 2021 to March 2023.
  • Counseling and seat allocation will be purely on a merit basis i.e. based on the performance in the Entrance Examination.
  • The counseling schedule will be published in the KIIT Website after the declaration of the result. Candidates have to attend the counseling as per the schedule. Counseling will be stopped as soon as all the seats reserved for the KIITEE-2023 are filled up.
  • KIIT provides free education to the topper of KIITEE-2023 (Only for B.Tech. (4 years) if admitted at KIIT. In addition to this, KIIT provides scholarships to top 1000 rank holders of KIITEE 2023 (B.Tech. – 4 years) during his/her study period at KIIT subject to fulfillment of criteria.

KIIT University B.Tech and B.Arch Admission 2023

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology offers B.Tech and B.Arch courses under KIIT School of Engineering in various specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% marks in total.

  • For admission in the B.Arch program, candidates have passed the 10+2 examination with 60% marks with Mathematics as the main subject.
  • Admission in B.Tech is provided based on KIITEE score followed by counselling.
  • B. Arch admission is based on a valid score in NATA. Final admission is confirmed through counselling.

KIIT University UG Admission 2023

Apart from B.Tech and B.Arch, the university also offers BBA, BCA, BFTP, BA-LL.B, BBA-LL.B, B.Sc-LL.B, MBBS, and BDS programmes at undergraduate level. KIIT will conduct KIITEE entrance test to offer admission in UG courses.

KIIT MBBS and BDS Admission 2023

KIIT School of Medical Sciences offers MBBS and BDS programs in recognition with the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI).
  • Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with PCB with at least 60% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for admission. 
  • The final admission will be provided based on the NEET UG examination.

KIIT School of Nursing offers B.Sc (Nursing) and GNM at the Undergraduate level and M.Sc (Nursing) at the Postgraduate level in various disciplines. The minimum eligibility for B.Sc (Nursing) and GNM is 10+2 with PCB with at least 45% marks and 40% marks respectively.

KIIT conducts KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination) to offer admission in postgraduate courses. A bachelor’s degree in the relevant field is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in PG courses.

KIIT M.Tech, MBA, and MCA Admission 2023

At the postgraduate level, the university offers M.Tech, MBA, and MCA courses in various disciplines through KIIT School of Engineering, KIIT School of Computer Applications, and KIIT School of Management respectively.  

  • For admission in these courses, candidates have to qualify for the university-based entrance test - KIITEE.
  • Candidates with a valid GATE score will get direct admission to the M.Tech programme and will be exempted from the KIITEE examination.

KIIT University Application Process 2023

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology follows a common admission process for all the courses except MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, and MDS. The application form for KIITEE has been released and is available on the official website.

Follow the below-given steps to apply for the same:

  1. Go to the official website of KIIT and click on the "ADMISSION (Open)" tab at the right top corner.
  2. Candidates will be redirected to the KIITEE official page. Click on the "APPLY NOW" button.
  3. Now, students have to register themselves by filling in the required details.
  4. After registration, fill in all the details in the application form and upload the photograph, signature, and mark sheet.
  5. At last, submit the duly filled application form and note down the registration number for further reference.
  6. Also, check Fee Structure of KIIT University
NOTE: The application Form will be available till 31 March 2020 and KIIT does not have any registration charges. Else candidates have to pay the registration fee at the time of counselling process.

KIIT Bhubaneswar Scholarships and Fellowships

Various types of Scholarships have been instituted by the University for encouraging meritorious students. The quantum of scholarship and period of scholarship is subject to change from time to time. Different scholarships, stipends and free relaxations available in KIIT, Deemed University.

PradyumnaBal Memorial Scholarships:

The scholarship is instituted in the memory of Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, Founder President of KIIT.

Every year two poor and meritorious students are provided completely free education under this scholarship scheme.

The scholarship covers college fees, hostel fees including mess, books and any other ancillary expenses. The decision of the selection committee regarding the selection of the candidate will be final.
KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarships:KIIT has instituted Poverty-cum-Merit scholarship for the poor and needy students.The amount and period of scholarship are decided based on the need of the selected candidates. The decision of the selection committee for the selection of such candidates will be final.
Teaching Assistantships: KIIT has launched a living learning Programme for M. Tech students.This innovative programme has been initiated to benefit the postgraduate students, who wish to supplement their income while being a student and gain experience in teaching/research. Number of such awards is flexible and vested with the management of KIIT University.
KIIT Merit Scholarship:
1st position holder in semester examinations (for different Schools under the Deemed University) for 6 months.KIIT Merit Scholarship varies from 5000 INR – 10000 INR per month
KIITEE Merit Scholarship:
KIIT provides free education to the topper of KIITEE-2020 (Only for B.Tech. (4 years) if admitted at KIIT. In addition to this, KIIT provides scholarships to top 1000 rank holders of KIITEE 2020 (B.Tech. – 4 years) during his/her study period at KIIT subject to fulfillment of criteria.
International Scholarship:

PhD Scholarship:
KIIT Deemed to be University provides full-time PhD scholarship of 20000 INR per month.For PHD students only
M.Tech Student Scholarship:

Contingency Fund:
Contingency fund of 50000 INR is available for both full-time PhD and M. Tech students.

Stipends:

  1. Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery, and Master of Dental Surgery are Rs. 49000, 51000 and 53000 INR for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively for each month.
  2. Magister Chirugial/Doctorate of Medicine is 58000 INR per month.
  3. MBBS and BDS internships is 20000 INR per month.
  4. Sc in Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (Nursing)  is 6000 INR per month.
