KKHSOU Guwahati Admission 2022 is done on the basis of candidate merit in the last qualifying degree. Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University is a state university in Guwahati, Assam, India. The university was established by the Assam Legislative Assembly by Act XXXVII of 2005 in 2005. The Act received assent from the Governor in the same year. It was recognized by the University Grants Commission in 2009, which lists 2007 as the year of establishment. The postgraduate programmes offered by the university are MA, MSW, M.Sc. IT, MCA, and MBA. Out of these, MCA, M.Sc. IT and MBA are ICT Enabled programmes. The application process for these programmes is quite different from other courses. The university also offers Diploma and PG Diploma in various courses. Out of the six PG Diploma courses, three of them are ICT Enabled programmes. The Ph.D. offered by the university is a regular programme and the applicant must be ready to be a full-time scholar.

Eligibility Criteria
- A applicant must have a Master's degree or a professional degree that has been declared equivalent to a Master's degree, with an aggregate percentage of not less than 55 percent.
- A candidate from a low-income family can take advantage of the concessions available (which is 5 percent ).
Selection Criteria
Admission to the University's M.Phil. programme is based on a candidate's performance in an entrance exam followed by a viva voce. The KKHSOU-CET will be divided into two parts:
- Part A: 50 points for multiple-choice questions based on research technique; Part B: 50 points for descriptive questions in the relevant subject.
- Candidates who have completed the UGC-NET/SET are exempt from taking the entrance exam.
