KTPAJV or Chandulal Chandrakar Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya previously known as Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya also Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication (KTUJM) was established in the year 2005 as a state university for Journalism & Mass Communication degree courses in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The University was established by the Government of Chhattisgarh vides Act no 24 of 2004. The present campus of KTPAJV has an office, classrooms, faculty rooms, Language lab, library, Computer lab, Television Studio, Community Radio, and other necessary infrastructure with a hostel for boys and girls. The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate & Ph.D. courses in Journalism, Mass Communication & Electronic Media.
